So who was Saints best ever penalty taker
aintforever replied to Fitzhugh Fella's topic in The Saints
Easily Le Tiss, took more at a higher level. -
I think journos can release news whenever they want, I expect he didn't have much to write about this week. Or he only just found out. Either way it's their job to write stuff and get people to read their publications.
-
I just wish these c*nt footballers would just hand in a formal transfer request if they want to leave.
-
That bloke is a ****ing legend.
-
That's nonsense, you would have to be a pretty narrow minded designer to think like that. The Danish pyjamas, the Keegan Rank Xerox and the Pony tick we all variations on red and white stripes. Even the white corners kit from the 80's had the enough red, white and black to look 'Southampton'. If the last two kits had black shorts and white socks they would look OK IMO.

I am slightly concerned about Reed having too much control over things. Under Cortese you knew he was only one bad decision away from being fired whereas you get the impression Kruger, being new to football, is relying on him too much. Could be wrong but that's just the impression Kruger gave me in his interview.

To all the ****s who think they are too good to play for Saints http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3RXPRjpCLEY&list=RD3RXPRjpCLEY#t=6

What a load of b*ll*x. Get a good team, price the tickets right and you will fill the stadium. I am amazed how clubs get suckered into paying money to companies like this. I guess someone has a boss to try and impress.
-
Bullsh!te, managers are approached all the time whilst someone is still in the job.
-
How long did Cortese wait to appoint Poch after Adkins was sacked?
-
Nonsense, if he changed his mind tomorrow and says he is staying the fans will be noshing him off again.
-
They need to hurry up and get someone in place, they must have known Poch was going to leave for a while so there is no reason to hang about. Get a big name in place and a few top signings and suddenly players will not be so inclined to look around.

Didn't the USA come second in the vote? I know it was they were in for it along with the Aussies. Would be great if Qatar gets stripped of it.
-
Also, having Lambert, Lallana and Shaw sat on their arse warming the bench at some big club is not exactly going to help the national team.
-
At least him and Lallana wont have to wait long because England are sh!te.
-
****ing ****s
-
If Lambert had thrown his toys out of the pram I would have thought he was a ***t as well.
-
Saints need to dig their heels in on this or they will risk setting a precedent.
-
I dunno, I reckon this new TV deal will see silly money being thrown around.
-
I don't think any of us are in a position to judge re: phone calls. Maybe Lallana has been pestering the board and they are fed up with saying no.
-
This if we cave in to one player it will set a precedent. I would tell Lallana and Shaw to forget about any move. We would be better off having them sulking in the reserves than having half our squad thinking they can just ship whenever they fancy it. The Suarez situation proves that you can stand firm and after a bit of initial sulking it won't effect their performances.
-
What's wrong with being bitter? I don't hate the bloke but will laugh like a drain when he inevitably gets sacked next February at the latest.
-
I don't remember ever seeing a single post that says they want "anyone-but-cortese", not one. I think you are just being a d!ck.
-
I expect the reason the players are being kept n the dark is because they wont like what they would be told ie: what Cortese promised - aint gonna happen because there is not enough cash.
-
Spurs and Liverpool are always going to be a step up the ladder, I'm not sure there is anything that could have been said by anyone to stop them leaving. Even if Cortese was still here with a cunning plan I doubt the outcome would be any different.
