  1. No, that concept just exists in you head.
  2. How has he failed to build a team? We've had back to back promotions and spent approx £30mill in the summer. Cortese was laughed at last year by the usual suspects when he said he wanted to win the Championship yet we came within a few points. Building a new stadium now would obviously be pointless, planning ahead is not though.

  4. I expect Cortese's plan will be more along the lines of; play better football - be more successful - grow the fanbase over time. I'm sure even your Dell-sized brain can understand that concept.
  5. That's typical Daily Mail interpreting scientific facts their own way for their own agenda. Pick a freakishly hot year 15 years ago and draw conclusions by comparing following years to that - I don't even think a GCSE science student would use that method! Make you cringe thinking of the average Daily Mail reader taking in every word of that.
  6. I can actually see the FL growing a pair and blocking Chanrai's bid. Wether he was a shadow director or not is irrelevant, they can make their own rules up as they go along.
  7. Totally agree, I would just trust our soldiers to make the judgement Also this is an American led war, any attempt to be nice to the locals needs to work alongside the fact that the Yanks are going around blowing sh!t up and we are seen as the same by the enemy.
  8. From what I have read about Iraq and Afganistan the ROE mean they are trying to do a job with one hand tied behind their back. The problem is it doesn't take long for the enemy to work out exactly what the rules are and they use them to their advantage and exploit them ruthlessly. It's not a game of chess here, these guys lives are at stake so I don't blame any of them for bending the rules a bit. I read this account of some brits holed up in some dump in Iraq. they were getting mortared daily and the guy organising it was stood right in front of their compound on his mobile laughing while he directed the mortars. Their ROE said they couldn't kill him because he was unarmed and he knew he was untouchable. By chance some Yanks ended up holed up with them, next time they were getting mortared they just blew his head off. The enemy also quickly learned the range of the weapons the Brits had, unfortunately for them the Yanks had better sniper rifles and took out another load of guys who were unarmed but communicating with the mortar team. The Yanks also had access to air support the Brits didn't and blew the sh!t out of the mortar team. We shouldn't be over there, that country is not worth one of our men.
  9. "They have £40 mill Prem money in the bank dumbass, just because we are owned by billionaires means nothing, NOTHING" LOL
  10. This coming from someone who says we can't compete with Swansea in the transfer market.
  11. Doesn't have to be, the FL is a private members club. If they turn down Chanrai then the administrators will have to make the trust the preferred option, if what they offer is better than liquidation.
  12. So you do think filling potential shortfalls with extra away fans is the same as building a purpose built massive away end. Maybe you live in a world where you can predict what the exact demand for tickets will be 5-10 years in advance so you can plan a stadium that has seats for that exact number of home fans plus 3000, and only 3000 away fans.
  13. I would find it a bit distasteful if people come out and open their mouths now to try and get compo when all these years they have kept quiet when they could have stopped other people getting abused. There was this woman on the radio yesterday saying how she saw Saville abusing a retarded girl in a hospital in the 70's - why on earth did she wait until 40 years before she told anyone? Also someone from the BBC said they reported something Saville did to another employee - I'm sorry but if you see someone getting abused you go to the police, not a ****ing workmate.
  14. God you are thick. You really think "fill potential shortfalls with extra away fans" is the same as building a purpose built massive away end. ****ing hell, are you 12 years old?
  15. You build a stadium you think is suitable for demand, if it turns out there is not sufficient demand from the home supporters there is an option to increase the away section. How is that hard to understand? It's not a hard concept to grasp.
  16. We just need to pull out of that sh!t hole asap. The only people who should stand trial are the politicians who put our young soldiers in such a pointless situation. We could stay there 50 years and it will still be a violent tribal sh!thole when we leave. Just do it now and let them get on with whatever they want to do. They are no threat to us.
  17. It's only you banging on about building seats especially for away fans. You obviously build a stadium to suit you own support but increasing /decreasing the away allocation is a factor to take into account depending on demand. It's not rocket science.
  18. It is worth factoring in ways of maximising revenue, and increasing the away allocation should the need arise is a way of maximising revenue, as countless clubs have proved. Fulham even have a neutrals section I believe.
  19. I've been to plenty of away games where the away support is over 10%.
  20. I don't see how having 4,000 away fans in a 40,000 stadium can be a "much bigger advantage" than having 3,000 in a 30,000 seater.
  21. Not really, it's worth flogging more seats to away fans if you can.
  22. I have seen way more racism in life outside of football than in it. All this "Kick it Out" nonsense just perpetuates peoples prejudice against football supporters.
  23. I have a nice cushty desk job and don't have much trouble understanding that.
  24. That's how I see it. There is definitely potential for growth (no matter what the dell brains on here say) but it will take a sustained period of success.
  25. I agree with the opening post, just the plod being lazy, you should be able to say what you want online.
