Fed up with seeing Scheiderlin poncing about in front of the back 4, it's like playing with 5 at the back.

I wouldn't take any notice of Nineteen Canteen, he only hates Lawrie because of his love for Lowe. I don't know why people are even talking about Big Mac though, there is no way he would do a similar role to Oldknow. If Cortese wants him in though you would have to back his judgement.

Whilst over here in Gordon Brown's Britain we are closing down wind turbine factories.

I think thats a good draw, more likely to beat them in a one off game at home than over two legs. Beat Norwich and you have to fancy us over two legs against MK Dons or Hereford.
-
He was a **** the way he treated Luton.

no, I don't know anything, just wondered if anyone else was ITK.

Wasn't Oldknow the guy that Hone & Hoo's ect made a director just before they were kicked out?

While the Sun is a rag and did shamelessly exploit the letter thing I don't think you can criticise Mrs Janes for a) being offended by the shody looking letter and b) wanting to do something to highlight the lack of resources for our troops - which IS causing unnecessary death and injury.
-
Ditto, also heard he made alot of money out of the club during that whole Exec fiasco.

You've illustrated my point perfectly, it's about time we stopped acting like the World's Police and sticking our noses into places that should not concern us. Like you said - when was the last time the Irish, Greeks, Icelandics, Danes, Finns, Swedes etc bombed/attacked by Al Qaeeda? We're not a World power any more, we're just a small island a thousand odd miles away, lets stop making ourselves a target. Tell Nato we've done our bit, now it's someone else's turn to have their young men butchered.
-
I agree, accept that I don't think it's fair that we, or the US have to pay such a high price when it is a Worldwide issue. It's not fair that so many other countries are making such a pathetic token effort. We could easily pull out all our forces and let other countries do their bit.

Blimey calm down, no need to get abusive, we're not in the playground anymore. My point was however bad his eyes are he could have got a proof reader to check through his writing. Fact is some distraught relative was offended by his letter - whoever's fault it is, that is not good. Now if you really insist on replying, take a few deep breaths and try and leave out the insults or I will tell your mum you're being nasty.
-
I disagree, we have more than done our bit, get out now and let someone else do it. I fully support Nato's mission but how can this be fair... United States - 34,800 United Kingdom - 9,000 Germany - 4,365 France - 3,095 Canada - 2,830 Italy - 2,795 Poland - 1,910 Netherlands - 2,160 Turkey - 720 Australia - 1,350 Romania - 990 Bulgaria - 460 Spain - 1,000 Denmark - 690 Belgium - 530 Norway - 480 Czech Republic - 480 Croatia - 290 Sweden - 430 Hungary - 360 Slovakia - 245 Lithuania - 250 Macedonia - 165 Azerbaijan - 90 New Zealand - 300 Albania - 250 Latvia - 175 Greece - 145 Finland - 165 Estonia - 289 Slovenia - 130 Portugal - 145 United Arab Emirates - 25 Singapore - 9 Ukraine - 10 Luxembourg - 8 Iceland - 2 Ireland - 7 Jordan - 7 Austria - 4 Bosnia and Herzegovina - 10 Georgia - 1

Brown was happy enough to kiss the Sun's ass while it was spewing out his own propaganda - particularly when he was sending our young people to their deaths in an illegal war. I have no sympathy for the idiot. Hand writing condolence letters is a nice idea, but probably not the brightest idea if you have the illegible scrawl of a 12 year old and don't know how to spell.
-
To be fair, I think the least we should expect of our PM is the ability to write joined up. If his eyes are that bad he should have the common sense to have his scribbles proof read. Brown is a baffoon, everything he touches turns to ****, I applaud the Sun and that woman for giving the warmongering idiot a kicking.
-
You obviously missed this bit... "But Dr Wolfgang Knorr cautioned that the world should still be trying to reduce carbon dioxide emissions as part of any climate change deal decided in Copenhagen next month."
-
If those Scottish ****s get in the Prem I will give up watching football for good. Almost as daft as that 39th game idea.
-
If his eyes are that crap I hope he got someone to read him the Lisbon treaty before he signed it.

I agree about the shallow celebrity obsessed world we live in, and I don't get the Katie Price thing. The fact that a slag like her has got so popular just by getting her norks out and ****ging celebrities is a sad reflection on our society. X Factor is good TV though, the music is utter garbage but the show is more about making "normal" people's dreams come true. It's just a game show, and it's fantastic watching some telentless mong have their life's dream crushed on live TV.
-
Made even funnier by the fact that between now and January their home fixtures are: Man Utd, Burnley, Liverpool then Arsenal. Sandwiched between those are nice trips to Stoke, Sunderland, Chelsea and West Ham!

I thought that meant no one else could bid for the club, I think Fry said he realised pretty early on they were a bunch of jokers.
-
He favoured Pinnacle at some stage, I expect they offered the creditors more cash, that's the administrators job. Pinnacle's backers obviously pulled out, but Leibherr could be a trillionare, that doesn't mean he wouldn't back out also. Fry obviously played it right because he didn't lose anything by giving Pinnacle a chance to come up with more cash. I expect he was in constant contact with other parties while Pinnacle were messing everyone around.
-
Didn't Pinnacle pay for exclusivity, hence they got exclusivity? If Leibherr had paid for it, he would have got it. Fry's job was not to get Saints a Billionaire, it was to get money for the creditors - which he did. If he knew Leibherr was still interested he had nothing to lose by giving Pinnacle the opportunity to pay more.
-
I think as no one on here knows what went on between Fry, Pinnacle and Leibherr the only possible way we can judge Fry is on the results - and those were quite obviously very good.
-
I find it hard to fault Fry. He came in when we were facing oblivion, from what I understand all the creditors got paid, and we ended up with a Billionaire in charge. Those are the facts.
