  1. I bet they get more pussy tho.
  2. The thing is the whole country is tribal, NATO has put one warlord in charge and there will be people who are never going to accept being ruled by him wether they are democratic or not. When we leave there's going to be tribal wars wether it's now or 10-20 years time.
  3. Works in Rugby, Tennis and Cricket. It would be so so easy to introduce at top level football. In fact wasn't it even used in the last World Cup final with the Zidane headbutt, I remember hearing somewhere that the 4th official saw it on video replay and informed the ref. There was almost a bizarre situation where 80,000 people in the stadium saw it, half the people on the planet saw it on TV, but because one bloke in the middle of the pitch was looking the wrong way he almost got away with it.
  4. All this stuff about terrorist training camps is just nonsense, the 9/11 attackers were from Saudi Arabia, used knives to hijack the planes (no training needed) and learned to fly in the US. If you want know how to blow up a tube train or bus you just need to look on line, you don't need to go to a training camp in some **** hole in the middle east.
  5. Do you think we should be forced to replay the Southend game then because Trotman quite clearly booted the ball out of the keepers hands?
  6. To be fair, Robbie Keane attempted at least two disgusting, cheating, hand-balls in the second half. You can't blame them for feeling hard done by because at least one official should have seen it but if Keane and Duff had taken either their two great chances they would have qualified. They are not at the World cup because they are not good enough - it's as simple as that.
  7. Top man! The war was won by people like Old Codger.
  8. Your theory is just complete nonsense, you are trying to say that all of the Worlds leading scientific bodies are being paid to make up lies about climate change to stop emerging economies like China and India?! Paid by who? And China and India obviously don't have scientists?!? The economic cost of combating climate change is going to have a much greater impact on the "west", why invent something that will make us much worse off - it doesn't make any sense at all. If it is all a product of the West's imagination then India and China will just keep on burning their fossil fuels and develop at an even greater rate while we wreck our economies trying to pay for expensive green technologies, which according to you are not needed.
  9. Agree with his stance so feel sorry for him. But I suppose if you join up you should not be able to pick and choose and there has to be a deterrent. A few years in the clink is better than being blown up or being forced to kill people you don't want tho.
  10. West Ham, Rod Wallace scored, think it might have been the day of the Hillsborough tragedy. Still think London away days are the best.
  11. They are usually described as far right, my point is climate change has nothing to do with politics.
  12. And don't forget those loonie lefties at the BNP... http://bnp.org.uk/policies/environment/
  13. Wether you believe in made made climate change or not, making out it is something to do with socialism is just plain barking mad. Margaret Thatcher was one of the first to speak out about global warming in 1989, the fact that man is screwing up the environment is one of the few things all the main politcal parties agree with. The idea that it's just an excuse for new taxes is nuts as well, the measures the governments Worldwide are planning will cost billions, do they want to spend all that money for a laff?!?
  14. The Heartland Institute - Free Market Solutions - are you being serious? Which scientific body of national or international standing agree with your theory?
  15. Yeah like that looney leftie who was one of the first to speak out on climate change in 1989 - Margaret Thatcher (who just happens to have a chemistry degree).
  16. You don't think that the World's scientific community would just maybe have taken natural variations into account?
  17. Oh come on, I think we all know that's not the most likely way it would turn out in America. More likely the bloke would turn up at Davenport's house, not with a knife but a semi automatic rifle, and gun down Callum, his mum and sister and sister's mate. Old Papa Davenport would emerge from out back with his old WW2 shotgun and blow the guy away along with a few well meaning neighbours who were in the way. At which point Cheif wiggum and a few other donut munching red neck coppers would turn up and shoot the crazy old fool. UK outcome - man with stab wound, man arrested. US outcome - 8 dead.
  18. I don't know how you come to the conclusion that science is on your side when just a few minutes looking on the net... In February 2007, the IPCC released a summary of the forthcoming Fourth Assessment Report. According to this summary, the Fourth Assessment Report finds that human actions are "very likely" the cause of global warming, meaning a 90% or greater probability. Global warming in this case is indicated by an increase of 0.75 degrees in average global temperatures over the last 100 years. The U.S. Global Change Research Program reported in June, 2009[7] that: Observations show that warming of the climate is unequivocal. The global warming observed over the past 50 years is due primarily to human-induced emissions of heat-trapping gases. These emissions come mainly from the burning of fossil fuels (coal, oil, and gas), with important contributions from the clearing of forests, agricultural practices, and other activities. In 2004, the intergovernmental Arctic Council and the non-governmental International Arctic Science Committee released the synthesis report of the Arctic Climate Impact Assessment[8]: Climate conditions in the past provide evidence that rising atmospheric carbon dioxide levels are associated with rising global temperatures. Human activities, primarily the burning of fossil fuels (coal, oil, and natural gas), and secondarily the clearing of land, have increased the concentration of carbon dioxide, methane, and other heat-trapping ("greenhouse") gases in the atmosphere...There is international scientific consensus that most of the warming observed over the last 50 years is attributable to human activities. In 2007, the European Academy of Sciences and Arts issued a formal declaration on climate change titled Let's Be Honest: Human activity is most likely responsible for climate warming. Most of the climatic warming over the last 50 years is likely to have been caused by increased concentrations of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. Documented long-term climate changes include changes in Arctic temperatures and ice, widespread changes in precipitation amounts, ocean salinity, wind patterns and extreme weather including droughts, heavy precipitation, heat waves and the intensity of tropical cyclones. The above development potentially has dramatic consequences for mankind’s future. n 2007, the Network of African Science Academies submitted a joint “statement on sustainability, energy efficiency, and climate change” to the leaders meeting at the G8 Summit in Heiligendamm, Germany: “A consensus, based on current evidence, now exists within the global scientific community that human activities are the main source of climate change and that the burning of fossil fuels is largely responsible for driving this change.” National Research Council (US) In 2001, the Committee on the Science of Climate Change of the National Research Council published Climate Change Science: An Analysis of Some Key Questions.[24] This report explicitly endorses the IPCC view of attribution of recent climate change as representing the view of the scientific community: The changes observed over the last several decades are likely mostly due to human activities, but we cannot rule out that some significant part of these changes is also a reflection of natural variability. Human-induced warming and associated sea level rises are expected to continue through the 21st century... The IPCC's conclusion that most of the observed warming of the last 50 years is likely to have been due to the increase in greenhouse gas concentrations accurately reflects the current thinking of the scientific community on this issue. European Science Foundation In 2007, the European Science Foundation issued a Position Paper on climate change: There is now convincing evidence that since the industrial revolution, human activities, resulting in increasing concentrations of greenhouse gases have become a major agent of climate change. These greenhouse gases affect the global climate by retaining heat in the troposphere, thus raising the average temperature of the planet and altering global atmospheric circulation and precipitation patterns. While on-going national and international actions to curtail and reduce greenhouse gas emissions are essential, the levels of greenhouse gases currently in the atmosphere, and their impact, are likely to persist for several decades. On-going and increased efforts to mitigate climate change through reduction in greenhouse gases are therefore crucial. In fact, according to wikipedia, since 2007, no scientific body of national or international standing has maintained a dissenting opinion.
  19. My mate is a sports Journo and says it's amazing how many know naff all about the game, they just use it as an easy route in. Scheiderlin has improved recently but yesterday was rubbish, back to his old game of poncing about in front of the back 4 offering nothing going forward and precious little defensively.
  20. I cant believe it took them 22 months to realise he was ****. Fair play to Burley though, 14 games of complete rubbish usually leaves a manager out of a job after a few months. He managed to pretend to know what to do for 22.
  21. We had better hope Saint George knows better than the scientific community because our politicians certainly not going to sort anything out. They can't even agree on targets let alone actually meet them. The UK's government might as well stop bothering trying to combat climate change and just concentrate of preparing for the changes.
  22. You can't make rules up for stuff like this. For example if we play pompey in the cup this year and Wotton scores a 94th minute winner with a hand ball he would instantly become a legend. Likewise you could argue that though Keegan didn't hang around for long, the fact that he was the European Player of the Year when he signed on the dotted line for Saints, makes him a legend.
  23. That won't make any difference, most students nowadays have as much disposable as normal people, they just get mummy or daddy to send them a cheque if they run out. When I was a student I spent half my life off my tits, it's OK when you're on campus but when you are stuck in houses amongst people who actually have jobs it does cause a problem and the locals have every right to tell them to **** off. Many of these kids wouldn't dream of acting the same way in their own cities.
  24. I still can't decide wether SaintRichmond is taking the P or just crazy?
  25. You're right, we need to concentrate on the Paint Cup.
