I think the arse will fall out of the Premiership very soon, the competition is getting duller and more predictable each year and people have less and less money. Sky & Setanta increased revenue but by totally saturating coverage, there is a limit to how much football people will fork out for, especially when it's overpaid foreign tossers from rubbish little clubs like Wigan and portsmouth, playing meaningless games in front of half empty stadiums.

If we went into administration could the shareholders be forced to accept a realistic price as some sort of rescue package? Surely the only way the ownership of the club will change is if we either manage to get promoted on a shoestring (very unlikley) or go down and go into admin (way more likley).

The fact that we are signing players would indicate otherwise.

I thought our new system would suit Skacel, either on the left or in the hole. I can't believe he couldn't have made a difference Sat, even if it was just coming on as a sub. Or even at left beck, giving us the chance to put Surman in midfield.

I dunno how much they have spent but I know they have bought quite a few in, including Morrison and Eastwood. Plus they could afford a manager with a track record who is not being forced to field their youth team after having an entire first team flogged.

Compared to us Coventry have been splashing the cash. I said at the time we should have accepted SISU. Lowe, Wilde and Crouch refused it simply because of their own selfish reasons.

The pricing structure we have is bound to mean games against rubbish teams like Blackpool get small attendances. If you have a spare £28 you are bound to choose to buy a ticket for Birmingham over Blackpool. £28 to see what is basically last years reserves play against a bunch of nobodys from up north is a rip off IMO.

The ticket prices are a bit high, I don't think they are doing gold/silver/bronze games again so people are just going to cherry pick - especially with all the doom and gloom about the economy. To be honest, if I hadn't been dumb enough to get a ST I probably would have considered stayng in the pub and spending my cash on beer, at least then I could watch the game standing up without having some tosser steward shout in my ear all game.

He made some good saves yesterday but I can't be the only person in the world who thinks he stays on his line too much? Strikers heading the ball in our 6 yard box seems to happen way too frequently IMO.

Blackpool play-off contenders, that is a joke. Before yesterday they hadn't won a game - even lost to Macclesfield. You could bet your house on them being in the bottom 6 this season.

Made some good saves but I would still prefer a goalie who comes off his line now and again. He also made it very easy for their penalty taker.

There is no point moaning about it, football fans will shout/boo/moan if they are not happy, that is the nature of fans everywhere - you can't change that. the players on the pitch are proffesional footballers, they need to be able to handle crowd abuse, home and away - that's just the way it is, it goes with the job.

Am I the only person who thinks Kelvin Davis should come out and catch the odd cross? He made some good saves but the rest of his game was non existent as usual IMO.

We've played 4 games, won one. All the sides, except Derby who are a joke, have murdered us in the second half once they have figured us out. It wont be long before teams figure us out in the first half IMO.

At least the boo boys went to the game unlike some of the **** suckers on here.

I thought the ref was awful, 4 mins injury time was a joke. Why is that if there is no injury's or time wasting the bloke holds up 3mins, if there is **** loads throughout the whole game then the retard holds up 4. Should have been at least 6 today.

Only a fool would ignore today's result, we were soundly beaten by a very poor team.

Obviously nowhere near going into administration though, as some on here have suggested.

As everyone on here thought Skacel was a god, Holmes was **** and McGoldrick couldn't hit a cow's arse with a banjo I am now quite pleased with this signing.
