  1. We fluked our way to a cup final with a run of easy fixtures, just like Millwall did, got ****ed, qualified for Europe through the back door and got dumped out in the first round. As for the prem years, Lowe inherited an established Prem club and left us an established Championship club.
  2. Nothing wrong with that at all, but it doesn't really fit in with being completely skint like the club are telling us. We could afford to hire Pearson as manager, like we could afford some of our high earners - it's just how Lowe chooses to use the money. Spiderman might get injured, not be as good as first thought or just not like England and sulk until he goes for nothing - there is no such thing as a guaranteed return. We are in a position to gamble £1mill Euros on an untried foreign player, no club on the verge of administration could do that.
  3. Whilst you shouldn't draw too many conclusions from the Cardiff game as they are very strong at home and we never win there, only a fool would ignore the risks of fielding too many kids in this league.
  4. That was my initial point, when someone from the Saints Trust or SISA say something in the press you get the same nob-heads slagging them off. "Who do they thing they are" "arrogant tossers don't speak for me" it's just boring now. It doesn't matter who the people are, what they stand for or what they say. Some saddo on here will have a pop. The Saints trust is pretty ineffective, as is virtually every other trust or fans group in the country. But one day it might be handy for the fans to have a collective voice - like in the Branfoot issue. Having a group of people like the trust working on the fans behalf with the club at heart has to be a good thing, even if what it can achieve at the moment is very little.
  5. Every is entitled to an opinion, but an opinion on a game you never saw is meaningless.
  6. Without watching the game it's pointless to comment either way.
  7. ****ed off to lose to a last minute goal, would have been a good point. I am a bit more confident about staying up though, sounded like we did OK and I expected us to get stuffed. It's how we play against the other relegation candidates that really matters, we always do **** at Cardiff.
  8. When any group of fans is formed by anyone for whatever reason you always get the same ****ish nobheads who do nothing but criticise and take the ****. There is a fair chance that we will get relegated this season and go into administration next, a trust might actually be more and more important - depending on how far down the leagues we go.
  9. Complete horse ****, just a pathetic attempt to get people to go on the web site.
  10. I missed the bit where he explains why he spunked millions we didn't have on overpaid old journeymen.
  11. Fit Killer = mid table Unfit Killer = relegated
  12. It is important we get a good start, not just because of the kids confidence but also because the crowd could quickly turn.
  13. Striking similarities to Lowe's Champions League speach prior to our relegation season. Whilst it is correct that we should aim high, coming out and purposely making a statement about it in the press only increases the pressure on the manager. ath from bottom will be a good achievement at the end of the season making dumb-ass statements about promotion is not going to help achieve that. I remember when Sunderland went up Roy Keane banned the "P word" even when they were top of the league, now we have our chairman banging on about it in August despite us being favourates to disapear out the other end.
