OK. Is this forum for discussing all things Saints or is it for massaging the ego's of the "characters" who seem to get a buzz from posting crap on here? If it is the latter then maybe there is an opening for an intelligent forum somewhere on t'internet. I agree. I have been supporting Saints since the mid 1950's. I have spent thousands on the club over the years but my opinions seem to count for nothing compared to the "characters" and know allls that seem to inhabit this forum ATM. I am quite happy to be shot down so do your worst. This forum is really ****ing me off now. The knee jerk reaction from some of the knob jockeys on here is unacceptable. I enjoy the cut and thrust of sensible debate but the knobs and trolls that have taken over unopposed on here have made me think twice about posting. I have really fallen out of love with football over recent years and would rather watch other sports. I really enjoy Rugby and got ridiculously excited when the Lions won in Australia recently and although not a major Tennis fan got caught up with the whole Andy Murray thing. I also have loved Speedway since I was a kid and watched the Saints every week at Bannister Court. The GP series is brilliant and I go the the British GP at the Millenium Stadium every year. We had a great team in those days. If it wasn`t for my love/passion for Southampton Football Club, who I have been watching since the mid 1950`s, I probably wouldn`t watch football at all now.
