  2. I think that he is a magnificent song writer going right back to his Fairport days, I have never been a great lover of his live performances. Lovely version of one of his songs by June Tabor (not the Emily Smith version - couldn`t find that! :- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jINA96zwmk4 Found it! http://www.myspace.com/emilysmithband/music/songs/waltzings-for-dreamers-78323674 Her album "Traivellers Joy" is a thing of real beauty :- http://www.myspace.com/emilysmithband/music/songs/lord-donald-78323677 Beautiful!

  9. Is no-one able to post the Jack Stephens thread on there to see how that fits in??
  10. Great, great fan of Cream back in the day. Used to know every note of the 20-odd minute versions of things like "Crossroads" and being a bit of a drummer, "Toad". "Wheels of Fire"! Aaah, those were the days! Anyhoo...... Jack Stephens, eh??

  16. Quite. I also wonder how many of the "protesters" who targetted Topshop, HSBC etc. and were chanting "Pay your taxes" were actually paying theirs or were milking the system. If they weren`t "whiter than white" themselves they have no room to complain, let alone turn the Central london into a war zone and scare and intimidate innocent shoppers/members of the public and their kids. I heard one charmer, who "occupied" Fortnum and Masons, on the radio yesterday and according to her it was all the fault of the police and she blamed the media for portraying it in the way that it did. I watched it live on TV during the day and the media only reported things as they happened.
  17. Yes, I chose a really good day to go to a theatre just off Trafalgar Square didn`t I??
  18. Didn`t they play/mime at the Dell in the pouring rain before one of the Sky big matches many years ago??
  19. I have a very long memory!!
  20. Many, many years ago I had a thing for Diana Rigg. As soon as I found out that she was appearing on the West End stage in "Abelard and Heloise" and there would be a full frontal nude scene, I was there like a shot! Second row. I was not disappointed! I still remember it well!
  21. Wasn`t Cassells part of the deal when we got Mark Wright from Oxford. If so it wasn`t a bad deal. I know that Casells didn`t set the world alight be I seem to remmber a handful of goals including some crackers in the 5 all draw at home to Coventry. Mind you I am extremely old (like everyone else on this thread) so the memory might be playing tricks!!
