TBF most of the comedians that I have seen recently (Frankie Boyle, Andy Parsons, Russell Howard etc) fall into that catagory. True originals are few and far between.

Seen quite a lot of comedy over the last couple of years and MM is one of the performers that I have enjoyed most. He managed to be very funny without resorting to too much smut or bad language. One of the worst I have seen is Paddy McGuiness @ Southampton Guildhall. A very short (not much more than an hour in total inc. an interval!) and not very funny.

I agree with what you say here, but my point was that there are people on this forum who feel free, behind the "invisibilty cloak" of their keyboard to call other posters offensive names just because they have opposing views to theirs. TBF I have felt like responding at times to some of the sickening posts in this way, but if people resort to these insults to back up an argument, then , as far as I am concerned, they have already lost it.

I was waiting for that!

Whilst I applaud your stance on this topic, and your aim of furthering the cause of decency on this forum, I would like to know where the line is being drawn here. It may be a generational thing, but I find that posters calling other posters (who they don`t actually know) ****s, spastics and ****wits etc, because they have different views to their own, oversteps the bounds of decent behaviour and seems to go unpunished.

This Season - Carbon Copy of Wotte's Relegation of Den Bosch
miserableoldgit replied to um pahars's topic in The Saints
Surely this is the important bit :- Although their results and their football under new coach Mark Wotte improved strongly in the last two months, fellow strugglers SC Cambuur always stayed one step in front Perhaps they got him in too late? May be we have? -
I wasn`t necessarily saying that Blackstock is better than anything that we have. I was just pointing out that Forest, for example have already brought in 2 or 3 loans to strengthen their squad and are apparently going to strengthen it further by bringing him in. In fact it is a loan with a view to signing him next season for £2.2M!

According to todays "Pink". Wotte says that he would only bring someone in if they were better than what we have but he is aware of the financial situation in the club and has "cooled" on the idea. This is even more frustrating when you hear of our relegation rivals strengening their squads (Forest for example now attempting to sign Dexter Blackstock according to todays papers) whilst we obviously have a problem scoring goals. The defence now seems to be doing a reasonably good job but lack of goals will really cost us in the end.

Anyone know where you can get the "CR7" range of leisureware? Looks classy.

What an excellent climax to the Six Nations. Ireland very much deserved winners. The result of the whole competition went to the final kick. England have improved beyond recognition. Martin Johnson certainly seems to be making his mark on the team and some exciting names are emerging. Roll on the next World Cup!!
