I think you will find that she has never been accused of taking drugs. She merely "forgot" some drug tests. I seem to remember Rio Ferdinand doing something similar. Don`t think that he had a 12 month ban.

Whilst the situation was annoying for me at least I only live 4 or 5 miles from SMS. I feel sorry for those that live much further away and had wasted journeys. I was there at around 6.15pm and there were 3 other people there. How many others came between 5.00pm and 7.00pm I don`t know.

I have just been down to SMS to get my tickets for the Brum Cup game as the ticket office was supposed to be open until 7.00pm. When I arrived the ticket offices were closed. Went to Reception and was told that there had been a ****-up. Ticket staff were apparently not told about late opening (although it was in Saturdays programme) and went home at 5.00pm. The guy in front of me had come up especially from Lymington for nothing. What is happening at our club?

I have no problem at all with the State (and our taxes) supporting people who genuinely need it, for whatever reason, and are suffering hardship. My original point was how much hardship is this young woman suffering if she can afford to take a taxi to get her gyro money, make it wait and then go back home in it. I was not the only person in the P.O. to comment on this.

On their 7.30am sports news this morning Radio Hants had as the main Saints news that RS and JE would be playiing for the reserves against Reading at Staplewood TONIGHT! They obviously were unaware that we played last night and lost 3 - 0! But hey- its "Where Saints Come First"!:confused:

I am not an OAP just yet! I am still paying my taxes (God, how I am paying!) It`s just that I have worked hard all my life and find it annoying someone being supported by the State (and by definition - my taxes) can feel the need/afford to get a taxi to the PO and get it to wait to take her back to her pit. I am not actually miserable although my wife thinks I am!

You are quite right. I made it all up. Does that make you feel better? Oh, I also forgot to make up the bit where she was talking about her kids. I don`t obviously know where they were whilst she was in bed all day, but as I am making it up it doesn`t really matter does it?

Heres where I live up to my username!! Just before 1.00pm on Saturday I went to my local Post Office. As I arrived a taxi pulled up outside and a young woman leapt out and rushed into the P.O. whilst the taxi waited outside. She said that she had come for her Gyro money, but she had just got up and had to rush before the P.O. closed. The guy gave her her £175 and said "Have a nice week-end" but she said that she was going back to bed, got back in the taxi, which was still waiting and shot off. I know it was Saturday but I can`t imagine that she spent much time looking for work and my taxes are paying for that taxi! Is it me??? Probably! Rant Over.:mad:

TBF it is not the results that are the problem. I was not expecting us to pull up trees, and as I indicated in the original post, the style of football actually gave me a quiet confidence about this season. It`s just that I felt that the squad was now fairly set and was looking forward to AD coming back. Losing him and possibly AS is the unsettling factor. It makes you wonder where the selling will end.
