I cannot believe anyone would choose going up as play off winners over CHAMPIONS! You may have a point if talking about 2nd place but how many teams every get to say they won the league title of the division they are in? A no brainer surely!

Quite disappointing I had no response to my email from the club. Oh Well most importantly I hope the guy got his ticket and wasn’t fleeced with a £15 admin fee! Mods please close the thread. Thanks.

Thanks for the bump. Not heard from the club but hope the person gets in touch so he gets his ticket.

I have contacted the club about this already but also thought it may be worth posting on here. The ticket is the adult part of the family offer with a child’s ticket in the Chapel stand. If you own this ticket please contact the club or post the child’s seat location on here and I will post the ticket out to you today. I do not have access to the PM system but please PM a mod once I have confirmed you own the ticket in the thread and I am more than happy for them to pass on my email address to you. Email to club Hi, I found a ticket tucked down the back of a chair in the King Alfred Public House on Saturday night at about 8pm. I did not want to hand it in to the owner of the premises in case it was not returned to the person who purchased the ticket, particularly as it is in the family stand and I would not want a child to be disappointed. The details of the ticket are. Chapel Stand, *********** I hope you will be able to contact the owner of the ticket and print him out a new copy so he can attend the game with his son\daughter. Thanks very much.

I got talking to a couple of very knowledgeable and good humoured Boro fans on the 21.30 train back to London last night. They were full of admiration for our team and the home support. They said we were the best home fans for getting behind their team that they have seen this season. They also said we were the best team they have seen in the last couple of seasons. They were insistent that we were going up with West Ham and that they would be happy to make the play offs but think they will just fall short. They also said we are a far better team than QPR were last year. It's all about opinions that's for sure but just like our match day threads are you surprised opposition forums have the match day trolls just as we do. Try talking to the genuine opposition fans at the game and you get a farer reflection on how they see their team and the opposition.

Bloody morons, but fair play to your son!

What pub are we using? I have a feeling I have been in a weatherspoons up there before opposite Thornton Heath perhaps? It was in our relegation season and I must say I was a bit mashed that thanks to the Tesco's opposite..

Not really as he is **** and they are bound to get better! My money is on Billy Davies
-
He spoke a lot of sense to me. Was very positive about the club, fans, our players and the management team.

A good assessment and one I mostly agree with. Hammond was stupid going for that tackle once he had been booked he was just asking for trouble, not helped by his team mates though as you quite rightly say. I was very disappointed with a few players tonight. I thought Hammond and Cork lost the midfield battle and did not win hardly any 5050 balls. I thought Fox had a very poor game and was at fault for the goal, is he really better than Harding or even Mills come to think of it! Then there is Guly, not interested at all and if the game had gone differently he would have been subbed, but what a lovely flick for De Ridder's goal. More than happy with a point though despite the negatives.

The first time Ian Brown played Roses songs were at Esher in July04, a totally mind blowing gig and one of the many times I have seen him live. Check the review out here. http://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/music/reviews/ian-brown-claremont-landscape-garden-esher-surrey-554778.html BTW well done on getting tickets, gutted I missed out!

Another example of the big clubs getting richer and then there is the cast off and disillusionment of many young players with decent potential. It stinks but what can you do.

My house! :-)

Give them a break it is not like that made a load of money last time. They were bent over and ****ed royally up the gary by Silvertone.

Hi goal today was top class. Very well taken indeed!
-
Yes good work chaps. It was great to watch the game!
-
Very happy with that. Boro drawing at home to Millwall has made it a great day. Still top but the pack are closing.
-
A brilliant player who we never got the best out of.

9 goals in the Premier League the season before last. 34 goals in 62 games in the Championship the pervious season before that. You can dress stats up any way you want to. Offer him a 1 year deal with an option for a 2nd year if he perfroms I say!

Wind up and total tool alert!
-
Great result. The league table also starts to sort itself out after 10 games, good times!

Maybe a few more would have by attending the ex Saints match v the Combined Services XI if they had known about it. There was a distinct lack of support from the club and I also do not recall seeing much in the local paper. Had both of them got behind it then I am sure many more would have attended so they could have done there bit to raise some cash for a very worthwhile charity.

What's more important ? The furture of SFC or its past ?
Ewell replied to alpine_saint's topic in The Saints
Brilliantly put and so true. What is so wrong in wanting a future lead and inspired by Nicola Cortese whilst also recognising those who have contributed to our illustrious past? That is all the majority of us are saying. But instead it has now become common place to label those you do not agree with as 'mongs' 'trolls' 'luvvies' 'fanontheboard types' amongst others which is banal and infantile and reflects poorly on any of your arguments! -
Ticket dretails up on the Palace site so looks like £15 which is decent value. http://www.cpfc.co.uk/page/News/0,,10323~2464015,00.html
