Anyone on here who uses an iPad and Hotmail finding that they can't get into their inbox?

Tried that, even with me being 47 added another £40. Probably if I had put in 55 it probably would have dropped 50%!!

I know this will get punted to another channel at some stage, but just thought that I would share this with you. My youngest Daughter has a little job and also needs to sort out a work placement where the best opportunities are out of Town. So being 16 and her having an interest in Motorcycles we thought a Scooter would be a good start. She got on with her CBT, so a serious look at what was available to buy was made. Obviously being responsible insurance was factored in, got a quote on a £500 scooter £580!!! I know car insurance for youngsters is eye watering prices but had no idea that 50cc Scooters also incurred the same mental treatment. We saw a nice little deal on a brand new Peugeot, put this in and the quote was similar. Then decided to have a look at that furry animal website, put in the book price of £1100, for fully comp the premiums ranged from £430 right up to £1295!! By the time you added on the extras that were standard with a few more competitive deals, the total had bumbled up to £1500!! ........................... Hang on a 17 year old can get fully comp on an old Fiesta for that!! I know this subject crops up all the time, but what chance do some kids have to get mobile and give themselves a better chance in life without getting rooked.

May cost a few quid more, but the one thing with Michelins is, so long as you don't drive like a complete plonker, they will last a damn sight longer than a lot of other tyres. I have a Honda Accord Tourer, all the toys you could wish for, when I first went to get tyres the chap at Micheldever went " oooh riiiight! Best check we have any of that size in stock only 5 cars use this size of tyre!". Had some Michelins at a price that lasted 28,000 next time got Bridgestone Potenza's lasted 19,000 miles, this is for fronts, rears good for well over 40,000.

Same applies to Paints, Glues, Fillers, Grouts, Screws, Rawlplugs etc. I put up some Aquaboard in the bathroom as the render on the solid walls looked like it might not poke up with any seepage through the tiles. I started off with plasplugs, what a pile of shiny s***. Ended up shelling out a little more on Fischer plugs wow what a difference.

4th Round Draw - Millwall or Dagenham Away
John Boy Saint replied to Thorpe-le-Saint's topic in The Saints
Fairly inert bill of fare dished up by the draw, ITV have something to get über moist about Liverpool v Manure. -

Mrs JBS always comments on his well tanned legs even in the dead of Winter!!!

The Gulf between the Academy and the first team is immense, its a bit like getting onto a boat that is not tied to the quayside, you either get on board with confidence, or a bit of a wobble, or you just fall down the gap into the sea! I can remember Gareth Bale playing in the Academy final v Villa he had been playing in the 1st team for a little while but as it was his band of Brothers Georges Prost made sure he was involved. Well very quickly you saw that with a handful of 1st team games under his belt how much more assured and mature he was compared to his team mates. Similar could be said about Wayne Bridge playing in the first team he was first man on everyone's team sheet, when he came back from Japan 2002 you instantly saw that he had gone up a few levels just through going to the world cup. In these days of fans and media judging a teams success by the money they blow on transfers for the nippers to make it onto the main stage is even more of a struggle, look at our very own Jack Cork a product of Chelsea, a smashing player for us and everywhere he was sent out on loan to but not a a sniff of getting into the Chelsea team. People questioned the boy Sturridge playing for Chelsea simply because he cost nowt and had no pedegree. The pressure is far greater today for a nipper than in the days of Shearer MLT et al when for certain Internet trolls were not sowing the seeds of doubt into the minds of the week and so called media pundits starting the doubts in the first place.

Many SWF posters are amongst the richest people in the world.

Just kicked out the wife and kids now that hat fits! Hmmmmmm I could use to this!! -
Seconded! Caught a bit of the Fabrice Fernandes's of late, showed on Monday that if he lights one from outside the box it gives the goalie a problem.

Hmmm, hardly a surprise ffs!! A full on blindside smack in the chops is likely to make most Men hit the deck like a sack of spuds!! Unlike your cheating Jessie of a "player" rolling about like he had been hit by a Train. I think if Rickie had done a Greer on Forte on El-Abd he would have not got up!
-
Shows how many crocks we have bought through the years and how accepting many fans are of them signing for us. I would hope that NC & NA would not be putting Southampton at the head of queue to pay top price for an injured player: 28 is a funny age for players especially ones struggling to shake off an injury.
-
2 things that emphasised their cynical approach to the game (Lambert & Harding events apart). Forte was closed down by El-Abd the ball went out and you could see him getting in Fortes ear, no doubt priming him for a reaction. Then to damningly sum it all up at 3-0 up their CAPTAIN (after no end of niggling interference) see's fit to chance his luck and smash Forte in the face with his elbow when the ball was nowhere near them both.

Updated : Tadanari Lee Set to Sign
John Boy Saint replied to Matthew Le Tissier's topic in The Saints
Brother in Law is a ST at Chelsea he reckons there is a voucher on the back of all plane tickets from the Far East for free entry to Chelsea as he has different ones each week sat around him. So no worries on that front. -

Blimey after all this Stalkering going on and whipping up of a frenzy on here, I hope that Man U haven't sent an envoy to the airport to intercept him a la Diego Forlan while Middlesborough representatives were waiting outside Smoggie Central rail station for him!! -
Back to the player of the thread: A trip before the beak pending for something as serious as rape! Barney still waiting for a trip before the beak for allegedly bottling someone. Do we have Solicitors lined up for the next shirt sponsor?! I would imagine the cloud hanging over Barney alone would see us giving Evans a miss until after April/May as Sheffield Utd will want to get top dollar for him. Should he be found guilty how many folks would be impressed at us shelling out what would be over the odds for someone who could be doing porridge for a while.

Looks very nice from the outside, but a bit of a let down inside, main stand aside. Toilets were a bit of a bun fight. Padded seats were pleasant warmed your backside up nicely when you sat down at half time. Being 5'2" and having to stand up Mrs JBS found her view quite restricted compared to the Mad Stad. Amazingly they ran out of Fosters and (what I thought was a nice touch) Ringwood Bitter. Pies were nice although could have been warmer. Access to and from the Station very good. At the end of the day far better than the Withdean and the 5h!tty stick they have had to carry since the Goldstone ground was sold from under them.

Brighton were on a mission to get us down to 10 men, soon as Harding was wrongly booked all their players were on a mission to secure a swift second as they knew D'Urso was being sold on their antics. With regard to Rickies sending off my view was blocked however for a bloke who Rickie had just assassinated boy did he lash out with his feet as Rickie was getting up which D'Urso chose to ignore. As the game proceeded the more shonky decisions D'Urso made the more I felt in the back of my mind that this was a Referees Union directed game after Peter Waltons woeful display in our favour.

Iceberg iceberg iceberg!!!!!!! Everyone to the lifeboats!!!!! Everyman for himself!!!!!! ..........................................er um false alarm it was just a funny shaped cloud on the horizon.......... Sorry. There are some folks on here that Health & Safety dictats were invented for, it's surprising that we don't have to take our belts off and remove our shoelaces before going into SMS

Missed the TO out of that after returning from the attic where I have been sawing cast iron water pipe in a difficult spot!! Thought it was all over!!! Bloomin Monkey. Phew!!!!!

The last 3 outings of that relay race have certainly been punctuated by events that have drawn a loud input from the crowd. Simple, safe ( unless you were that unfortunate young lady last night in the Chapel corner) and a bit of fun for the onlookers. It must be great for the kids taking part too. I reckon one week they should pull a few lads (or Ladys) from the Beer queue and see how they fair, that could be very amusing.

I can't believe the complete cods wallop aimed at Aaron Martin, " oh he's not a footballer" "the team have no confidence in him" what complete and utter tosh! Fonte is a very accomplished CB keeping AM out of the side without a doubt, if for whatever reason AM was playing week in week out keeping Fonte out of the team if the roles were reversed, Fonte would come in and he would be copping a slating. He is a very young lad without the benefit of academy life at Southampton and in reality he has ability beyond his years and experience and has never let us down on the pitch when he has played. (anyone say penalty v Leeds first day of the season should go to the stupid step straight away!!). Simple question for all you negative thinkers who would you prefer to be the next man in line for a centre back position between these 3 only: Martin or Cranie or Lancashire

I think as last nights game proved its time to dust off the League one book of winning games. As I predicted if we were where we are now teams fighting for their lives are going to play for a draw against us rather than getting smashed into next week by going for a win, and as we saw last night a fortuitous bounce of the ball saw the 4th bottom club go home with 3 points. Crystal Palace came to play and we beat them without knocking it into top gear. Many of those away days to come are against sides who will want to play against us and play to win, which falls right into our hands as it opens the space for us to play our expansive style of Football in. The one thing I instantly liked when we first came down to the Championship was turning up to a game where you had no idea what the result would be as a result of its competitive nature, as opposed to the Premiership where week in week out the immensely rich would roll into town and the first thought in the back of your mind was "I hope we don't get battered". We have bucked the trend overall for the first half of the season now it is time to test our mettle. QPR didn't have it all their own way last season.

Cortese is not stupid, I recall something someone said from Nicola that when Pardew left Puncheons attitude went downhill. Adkins was Cortese first choice on the list and what he has brought to the table has backed up his position on that list so until something goes really very wrong he will back him all day long.
