Millie Mott reads the game, and danger especially, so well.

For Saints …….. and probably for the league too.

Yeah ok fat fingers

5142 - the attendance tonight new record.

Saints Facebook - Answered that question apologetically in a post. Think the Twitter feed might be a bit more active.

If they are outside the Premier league if and when they do implode, no one aside from their fans will give a tinkers cuss. The FA will likely be pleased if Burnley do go down then go majorly wrong, because it won't be in full Worldwide view nor will it stain "the product". If I read it right - the new owners bought Burnley under the same process the Glazers bought Man Utd, taking them from massive wealth to massive debt to finance the purchase the moment the ink dried on the contract. The Glazers obviously had some wherewithal within themselves to carry it out and weather the initial storm. Seems like the Burnley lot turned up without a pot to piddle in. Thinking they could pull it off like the Glazers, must have involved late night cocktails of alcohol and narcotics, one is a global brand the other is a small Lancashire town football club.

Be a bit of a Rum do if something kicks off - but then they do have the first female to get a footballing offence and also the youngest person with the same badge within their ranks. Pretty sure Hampshire Plod will have had an ear to the ground.

Cheers - I have been re-educated. I was possibly getting confused with the Red card one game suspension ruling, where if you get two one match reds in a season, they tack on another match ban in the hope that you wise up. Pretty certain big Victor got pinged on that with us.
-
Must have been a very naughty boy and gotten to 5 before the first amnesty date I guess. 10 yellows does stick out in neon lights on that rap sheet.
-
I went to print out tickets yesterday and realised I had been distracted before completing the purchase last week - so, thankfully now, got them yesterday afternoon. Maybe if it sold out late on yesterday they need to organise the necessary stewarding cover numbers etc before opening another block for sale. Be a shame to miss out on possible walk ups - which is invariably what we do at Snows Stadium when we are able to attend: pretty sure we are not the only 2.
-
Isn’t that as a result of serving the 5 card ban 1st you then get a 2 match suspension - got to 4 before the 1st amnesty, then was a bit naughty and racked up another 6 before the second amnesty date = 1 game out. Didn’t think it was doubled up if you hadn’t served the first.

It’s like watching us against Chelsea the other week - butter and hot knife - Jeez
-
Curious game as on recent form of both - you can see Liverpool taking them apart without breaking sweat.

Bit of a shame as a mate has invited a few close friends to join him in the Halo Lounge for this one as part of his 70th Birthday celebrations - even thought it was already scheduled for a Sunday, being on a “school night” will be less fun 😢
-
Good to see Saints win 2 days running in person - said it before this lot are relentless and show no mercy. Bit of a cagey affair early on, couple of quick goals went in and the Plymouth mindset seemed to be changing to avoid being slaughtered, goalie didn’t get the memo oops - 3. On to Wednesday

I thought that all came about after, I think Broja, had contact with the Arsenal defender, both hit the deck ref gave the foul to Arsenal as the defender writhed about like he had been taken out by a couple of rounds from the Sniper up in the floodlights. Cedric crossed the pitch to tell Mr Banks in uncertain terms that he had to show Armando every card he had in his pocket - and have him burned at the stake for good measure.

Fraser Forster - Official: Signs for Spurs
John Boy Saint replied to stevy777_x's topic in The Saints
Bloke behind uttered “that’s the equivalent of a goal”. -
2003 Cup Final in the warm up a wayward ball ended up in the crowd right in front of me, no one looked to get it back on the pitch - it was one of the special FA Cup match balls - Silver with all the previous winners on it - chap with his son looked about furtively, no one looked to get it back, nearby steward just motioned to him “stick it in your bag - I didn’t see it land at your feet” : what a souvenir.

Hmmmm - I have a dilemma (see OP) as I started the thread and was sporting new Calvins! 😳 That was much better - on reflection easier than expected - Fraser was immense. Lyanco has a screw loose, but I like him. Just watching him after Arsenal missed chances, he’s like us lot in the stands - clenched fists “yes”.

Oops wrong thread 🥴

I think pretty much everyone outside the Burnley boardroom thinks that this is insanity. His football might be a bit industrial but I know who I would like alongside me in a fight. Lampard will probably sleep better tonight.

Jeez those ladies are just nasty - they just don’t know where the brakes are. Looking forward to Sunday

Trouble is how much will he cost to buy? Then given that we gave him a new contract not too long ago, how much would he cost A N Other team to put on the pitch. Then sprinkle onto that what many of have seen (and driven up the wall with) - aside from his purple patch a few seasons ago - his slow decision making, that "fair few" list could be diminishing like sand through an hour glass. A change of scenery could be very good for him.
