What's gone wrong at Skatesville article by David Conn: http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/feb/05/portsmouth-balram-chainrai-sacha-gaydamak interesting that the amount owed to Gaydamak is mostly the Standard Bank loan his trust took on.

I think they updated the title and sub-title to express the denial. Also, looking at some skate forums, they are hoping for 3 points from the FA because of Shorey, who played against them had already played for two teams this season: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1248600/Fulhams-Nicky-Shorey-FIFA-probe-playing-club-season.html

Band Of Brothers - British miniseries version, ideas?
Doctoroncall replied to Crab Lungs's topic in The Lounge
The Pacific was written by the same guys as BoB and it is suppose to be just as good. Release date is 14th March, although that may be US only. Last good brit TV was the State of Play thriller with John Sim and Bill Nighy. -
The page has got "Sorry we cannot retrieve this story." for me :-(

Al Fahim, sporting a blue outfit, is hopefully that some investment may come his way down at Unit 1
-
Why now? Investment would only secure the survival of the club and the £60m debt but not their PL status. If true, he's either likes playing russian roulette with his money or is playing Brewster's millions.

Once there was a skate and his name was Peter Storrie, He wasn't much to look at, with his plain grey scales. But Storrie was a fish with a big imagination, He blew small bubbles but he told tall tales.
-
TDD, I think you're being optimistic unless you think Incey Wincey is that good and with their best two players going.
-
As the weather is improving, I wonder if the blue few will get a visit from Al Mirage? Didn't Jacobs say he'll visit 'very very soon' a few weeks back, or is very a unit of time like a month.

They can only act on footballing debt... stupid ****s.

I was looking at the fixture list thinking we have an extra match with the semi-final of the JPT and that tiredness could be a factor. However, as it happens, the skates have one more game to play due to their postponed games being rescheduled, so: The cup game will be the Skates 5th game in 14 days, if they also sell a few players this transfer window the rest of the squad will have to cope. Saints have a less demanding schedule with the game being the 4th in 15 days, both teams having last played on the 9th Feb before the cup game.
-
Not only that, there were many other events before this that were organised to raise money from a concert to pledges, this was a bridge too far.

Instead of working with a cell with today's date, have a cell with a "trigger" date, i.e., today() minus 30. Use this cell for the conditional formating (when cell A is less than cell B) to mark when you're within the 30 day period of the target date. HTH

Brilliant stuff.

No expert, but anyone who is owed money and the club are behind in any repayment scheme that has been agree, be it wages, transfer money, tax etc.
-
I bet the HMRC are well pleased too!
-
As pedg stated, admin would bring a points penalty and relegation adding more cost to what would be an expensive toy. Maybe Gaddafi is mad enough (as well as mad about football) to take on a PL club, and one that is desperate for investment from any source.
-
Administration may not happen due to the winding up order leading to liquidation. It maybe easier to buy the club as it is still functioning rather than deal with the individual creditors after the final decision on the 10th Feb.

Surrounded by 27,000 haters? Considering Fratton only holds around 20,000 I think you're being unrealistic with numbers there PES.
-
Here you go: http:// http://www.uksoccershop.com/categories/2_108.html I'm not sure if they can put HMRC on the back, but that should be simple enough
-
That depends on Gaydamak not having plans with the land he holds under Miland. Would a superstore and housing fetch more than giving the club another £10-15m to secure next season's Sky money? Besides, they would still have a mountain of debt to pay, when would Gaydamak get his money back?
-
Only £5m of the £7m has been used to pay due installments to other clubs (home and abroad). The remaining £2m will return to the skates if they can provide evidence that the original contracts have been replaced with new ones, noting the new repayment schedules skate officials say they have in place. They need to hurry as I think Watford are due £2m at the end of the month regarding Smith and Williamson.
