  1. No, they have chainrai as owner.
  2. There is a time limit that a company can be in admin though, IIRC it's 12 months although that can be extended with creditors’ and Court’s permission. The FL is a members club, so for the purposes of a place in the league they could do what they want given the mandate by majority. Hence why we got hit and Leeds even though they had an agreed CVA.
  3. Much depends on what company the contract was with under SLH. My brother had and still has one with the football club and was owed money but obviously didn't get paid as there wasn't any money coming into the club. Once the club was sold he got paid. If he had the agreement with SLH or another subsidiary that got liquidated then who knows what would have happened.
  4. This. When Capello was there winning cups, the fans didn't like the way they played - it wasn't exciting flowing football - so I would expect JM to be there for only one season perhaps two at a stretch. It would be great to see him as Saints manager at some point but that isn't going to happen.
  5. Perhaps the lack of publication of any accounts should have started the alarm bells, further questions on how the debt was to be managed or even thinking about how the spending/wage bill could be sustained by the club. (Post Tally: 150)
  6. FC, as far as I know the FPPT does not take account the wealth of the individual or group that take over a club. All it does is establish who the owner(s) are and that they have a clean record of running a business with no convictions. The PL have stated that what it covers is a bit of mismatch with the title "F and PPT" (from their meeting with the skate fan delegation), although from next season they have added a few rules dealing with finance (was in guardian a few months back) and they meet the owner(s) in person. Your example would be hard to achieve from next season, as the FL have insisted on viewing the clubs' accounts and need a level of assurance (how that is ascertained I don't know) about being able to pay their way for the forthcoming season. That is why clubs are starting to take notice of what independant auditors are saying on end of year accounts. Of course, it will not stop a rogue club such as the skates from doing such but the consequences I would expect would be servere.

  9. How much was it and how many pages do you get for it?
  10. It's just a shame that in todays society it takes WAGs to highlight these things.

  12. Next time make sure you do a cool down and plenty of stretches. Also stick a pillow under your feet when lying down.
  13. Anniversary was the 11th May.

  16. This is the primary reason the FL need to punish them, regardless of whether there was anyone there to save/invest in them. So far a £1m find as punishment doesn't equate to the benefit they're had over other teams.
  17. Good idea, the club better start looking at the repressed football stars, although that sounds like an oxymoron! Actually, that reminds me: Does anyone know what happen to that young footballer who was at Watford and was due to be repatriated?
  18. So you're not expecting problems obtaining work permits?
