Really? there was many on here that foretold this season. Now, SR have to somehow navigate a way out of this mess, but there is clearly enough evidence with the same people in charge that is unlikely to happen. Will Saints be the new Stoke or Sheffield United ‘24 for next season?

I do wonder if Rasmus has the capacity to self reflect or think how broken something needs to be before fixing it.
-
Russell described him as one of the top developers in the country. previously worked as set piece coach at Forest and has coached at Brighton, Stockport and Hibs. he likes huddles rather than cuddles.

Bad enough our football is dire but to hear our farts are not good either is a bitter blow.
-
squat, bench press, deadlift, or overhead press?
-
At the moment he’s still here so the options for the next opportunity will lower the longer he’s in this downward trend and the reaction to the various pressures. If by some miracle he turns us around, well that’s another story!

Not sure what you’re getting at. The forum isn’t the Borg. There are those that want him gone, some to stay either because they don’t think there is a better alternative or some other reason. Some don’t want the club to spend in January, others do. besides, there has been a forum shift in position on RM throughout his time here. Like most managers (bar Nathan Jones) here or at other clubs.

It’s all starting to unravel. Obtaining only one point every three games pressure is only going to increase. Derby’s record is still in sight.
-
Villa are off form. 12 corners and many chances but could only score from Saints mistake. Could have been a point gained.

Christmas time with Saints. What teams have missed out so far?
-
Yes, and 3 errors leading to shots in this match.
-
And yet I can only see Spurs giving us a spanking ☹️

Not sure Manning is Pl material. He does give 100% and doesn’t shirk away from contributing. I wish the players were better able to move and support. You could easily see how Chelsea were more fluid in moving the ball forward. It just seems they were thinking ahead and not resetting when receiving the ball.

Bye bye Jack.
-
Lack of passing options kills us. So the risky passes are made. when Chelsea do it there are options and clear progression after the first pass.
-
Where is the midfield?

And the radio station, you can’t forget the radio station.

Happy Birthday, hope you and your friends have a fantastic time at the football with a Saints win.
-
What do you make of other squads like Ipswich, Leicester, Everton, Crystal Palace and Bournemouth? Are Saints really that far behind these squads that they have two to three times the number of points and Saints are already cut adrift in the table?
-
The trouble is the position he plays is the linchpin of the system. He needs to be at the top of his game for it to work better and equally having others that help out. Unfortunately he hasn’t the skill set to do that every game with differing opponents posing different challenges, but it’s a bit unfair to say he’s not a PL level player when most of the players around him do not have the ability required to play this system, as has been shown with so many turnovers and the infamous xG.

Apparently (or allegedly) they have a ten year plan. Whether it’s fictional like the Five Pledges or real, no one knows or has any details. Your suggestion could well be it considering SRs track record on football club management.
-
Which is fair enough until you realise McCarthy and Bednarek have signed new deals. This is incongruent to how SR and RM want to play football. Why (re)sign players that perform worse under these circumstances?

My statement was correct, regardless that I wrote it before it was scored. 😎 -

Liverpool gifted two goals (and penalty). Saints quick in transition to get two goals.
