The trait of a losing gambler.
-
You’d think after all the games this season, last season and beyond they’d start to question the way they are using the metrics… because it’s not fucking working.
-
Six points above the relegation zone. With two teams below us to play in the next two fixtures. What could go wrong? we are lucky Blackburn are below us with bad form and not a great team. As you say, looking like a relegation scrap if we lose the next two. Leicester will be down there as well if 9 points are taken.
-
Alfie will be happy, he never liked the early morning ones.
-
Which is at odds on how it’s turning out. Just a question of time when Solak either changes things about or wants out. If the former, who will he look towards to move us in the right direction?
-
Brought us pottery.
-
Ask the panel if you want to know beyond what they discussed. It seems to be a puzzle from the information they had at hand that didn’t fit the narrative given from the coach.
-
You need to rewatch it. Match fitness required, not in the squad. Experience player, can contribute in other non playing ways, not in the squad.
-
Thought it would be a struggle if Saints didn’t overhaul the squad completely and with the backroom set up to repeat the mistakes, those that said we’d turn into Stoke are looking to be correct. with the mini revival and a couple of additions and players back from injury play offs could have been the target but feel that has already gone now. Teams will exploit the obvious weaknesses, Norwich and Sheffield Utd will over take us for sure. Will West Brom and Swansea?
-
Don’t worry, it could have been worse, Tonda has known about this for a few weeks and has been working on it with the players. 🤪
-
Failed at Juve, back in Brazil doing well, so fits the profile. Would he be in reach for Saints?
-
What’s Marc Guiu up to these days now Liam Delap is back?
-
He’D Job a Job For Us? Came from Arsenal academy, made the first team bench a few times so decent start, contract ends in June so probably thought best leave the mad house. Another young (21) ‘potential’ CB gone, no loss considering we need a lead CB.
-
I don’t think this is the environment for a potential CB to learn. Always hoped we get a steady CB, nothing fancy, does the basics well on which to build from.
-
Good for Edwards, he’s best out of this mad house.
-
He left his previous loan early as he wasn’t getting game time.

This article will ring true to a lot of people on here.

And This article on the right selection and selection process. -
It would nice to get confirmed, someone posted that Ankersen still has Solak’s ear when it comes to footballing input. Besides, Ankersen has set up the data analytics in SR and I would not be surprised if it has been misused, set up incorrectly or no one really knows how to use it. Possibly a combination of the three.

The key element here is they will not be poached! It then remains to be seen as to what year they are expecting us to return to the PL to earn that big fat performance bonus 🤣 spreadsheets at the ready….
-
I think there were warning signs around a previous transfer and there was a hot streak of form when Orsic was played in a certain position. But of course the ‘data’ probably doesn’t show this.
-
The trouble is they have created a huge set of problems. The complete change in backroom staff has not helped, the summer ‘overhaul’ of players has not helped as those in charge have been focus on resale rather than team dynamics. Time to rebuild the squad and as many understand, fix the spine of the team and it becomes an easier task from there. Decent calibre players who are going to last more than a couple of seasons. The other positions can be for the flair players likely to piss off sooner.
-
Is he a gambler thinking it’ll turn to gold at some point?
-
Jesus Balls! Dragan better wise up and sack the lot. They are fucking shite at running football clubs.
-
You’re right, The manager (head coach), is the least of our problems. It will take another season at least to turn this around. i Cannot see us making the playoffs unless there is a good window and injured players come back for all the second half of the season games. There is a need to change tactical elements rather than personnel.
-
With the way they have been selling players to balance the books, not great, although they did turn down a £50m bid for Larsen last season so things could be better now. Still they have been on a downward trajectory and that is hard to break.
