To be fair, it would be pretty ludicrous if any indication of any intricacies of tactics were put up online.

Apparently it's grabbed from Elijah Morrisons Instagram story.

Dom Ballard and Jimmy-Jay Morgan, not playing for the U21's tonight. On the plane to Spain?

how to spot a Wind up Twitter account. look at the "Joined" date. Look to see if their profile image is used anywhere else, or has a watermark stamp across it. Look to see how many people they have following or are following.

Will there be any anti-Jones protests at the game tonight?

There's got to be an aguement that Gatusso would have beaten Forest last night. -
Do you want Nathan Jones to Manage Southampton Football Club?
Nolan replied to Rivers's topic in The Saints
Been told that Saints have had analysts watching Luton for a long time. They probably know more about Luton than Lutons analysts. this isn't a spur of the moment thing. -

Maybe rephrase the question to. Do you know more about football that the professionals who run the club? Yes No Unsure -
its £2 a month, and they're really quite pursuant for websites breaching their copyright and hosting reposts.

Just to give you four different responses when someone re-posted this to the Luton Outlaws board "It begs the question…….why is Luton his second team when he/she is so ####in critical of us ? Twat" "To be fair our football in the lower divisions was better to watch but, ironically often got outbossed by some physical teams which is possibly why we didn't win L2 and didn't beat any of our close promotion rivals in L1. Now we've added steel we're classed as direct and aggressive! But he's also getting the best out of our squad which, on paper, is nowhere near 8th in the Championship, so he is playing a style that currently works with our squad. And for that reason alone he has demonstrated tactical knowhow in terms of getting the best out of players." "Stuff about tactics etc is nonsense. When we demolished Leagues Two and One the football was as sexy as anything. Diamond midfield, striker Elliott Lee in midfield, winger Shinnie as deep lying playmaker, marauding full backs the main attacking threat. Now we're playing against technically superior opposition most weeks so our relative tactical advantage is intelligent pressing and aggressive quick attacks." "Most of that is a load of sh1t...We've won 2 homes games all season and 5 away for starters. I tend to agree with the view that the style of football reflects the squad, budget, and appropriate tactics for where we are. We played differently in Lg1 and Lg2."

I hear rumours that a monthly directors 'breakfast' was always scheduled for today. Hence why nothing is official yet.

Southampton City Council are planning on shutting East Park Terrace for cars. This may affect who comes in via the Avenue and who parks at Eastgate Multistory on Matchdays (especially as Portland Terrace is also due to be shut to cars under West Quay) People can comment in the Councils Survey here: East Park Terrace Sustainable Corridor | Your City Your Say Southampton

Just doubled goals scored with a 5-0 victory against bottom of the table side Denizlispor.
-
Although a win is a win, had they not got past these two clubs the locals could have really turned. Göztepe's midweek 'win' was a draw in a cup match against third tier opposition. They went through After Extra Time. Yesterday they scraped a 1 -0 victory against 2nd from bottom Malatyaspor. With only 5 goals scored in the first 9 league games they need to find some rhythm quickly.

Forgot it was a loan.....

Surely AMN goes to right back... edit: but the loan rules that out.

if you go by Transfermarkts listing of Squad by Age. Saints have 7 players under 20. Arsenal have 1. Caballero, Walcott and McCarthy (41, 33 and 32) add a lot to the average Squad age

I would personally be surprised if Selles isn't our next full term manager. Thomas Frank is an example of someone, brought in as an assistant who simply got promoted. When Dean Smith left this is the statement Brentford put out... "We feel the club is in a good place and we don't think it is time for big changes. Promoting Thomas ensures that we can keep building on the foundations that are already in place and working." Ankersen added: "He has played a major role in the development of our style of play over the past couple of years and we believe he is ready for the job."

Things are becoming untenable, but if anything happens, it's not going to happen before Manchester City. The most likely scenario if something snaps, is that Reuben Selles will take over as 'interim' manager for matches before world cup break.

3-0 loss to Pendikspor. 2-0 down after 31 minutes, recieved a straight red at half time. Conceded a 3rd halfway through the second half. Not going well at Göztepe, with the caveat that the latest management team has only just been put in place.
