But we won the PL2 Div 2 Last year and got promoted to the the top flight of PL2 So we'll be playing Man City U21's, Liverpool U21s, Man Utd U21's, Arsenal U21's and Chelsea U21's. I would suggest that we're looking for players to help us compete there too., but with a route to the first team if you're good enough.

Nearly 10 years ago I was told that the standard stripes were the worst seller in the club shop. It was part of the reason that Cortese plumped for the all red AAP³ shirt. In a year when retail sales are going to be a larger proportion of our turnover, this shirt is a winner.

It's almost as if there's a rule where there's a limit of "non homegrown" players in a 25 man Squad. So if you spend the money on a good "homegrown player" it shows you more options with foreign purchases.
