  1. I see more reason for optimism than pessimism this weekend. We've had a good run on training after our comeback against Spurs. I think the squad will be pumped for this one. I think it would be easy to make the Hammers fans nervous with a quick start.
  2. given the way Bednarek was coughing, it looked like rib had gone into his lung. The doctor was holding ABK's arm in place. Shoulder looked F^&*ed.
  3. Given we had 2 of 3 in game substitutions forced on us in the first 30 minutes. Given we played 60 minutes with a CB partnership that hasnt even been presented as any type of CB pairing option. given we hadnt scored 3 for a Long time. That point from the game was an exceptional point, and well managed from the bench.
  4. Worth remembering that Kamaldeen only played more than 45 minutes once this season for Stade Renais. he only played 314 minutes in 14 games in Ligue 1. We don't want to have a situation where we lose him for long periods.
  5. Black outline is Selles Games Blue outline is Jones' Games we need to expect 3 points from Bouremouth, West Ham, Forest and Palace. Thats the task.! If we can continue to grab 1 point from the Top half clubs, thats the bonus!
  6. Full presser.
  7. Highlighted Selles 4 Games its easy to forget 3 of his 4 games have been away. Theres still a lot of points there to play for.
  8. That was a bonus point all day long. Expected 0. got 1. I'll take it.
  9. Other results do not matter. I'll stay rigid to my belief we need 5 more wins to stay up. and Its obvious we'll have to be extremely lucky to get even a point here. Those points can come later Today is more about cementing a starting 11 that works well for each other.
  10. I really wonder how much analysis will go into Man U's Capitulation yesterday.? Do our analyst concentrate on how they have played to get to the top three. or do they shift to look at how Liverpool exploited them to see if there's anything can replicate. We know Selles is big on his analytics, wonder if @Jacob Tanswell or the Athletic could figure out which direction we look to go down.
  11. they had Southampton at 71% on March 1st.... stating the bleeding obvious: Wins will reduce that percentage further.
  12. Not going to think of it any other way except we need 5 more wins. We only have 4 games left against bottom half clubs so it's an uphill struggle. We need to keep momentum.

    Ruben Selles

Overtakes Jones' number of premier League wins.
  14. Jones would have had to understood what was happening on the pitch and with his players to make those comments. That wouldn't have happened. Selles sees Lavia can be better, and wants him to pay to his potential.

    Ruben Selles

We can not afford to turn against Ruben Selles' management. He is owning the issues and has to turn the team around from a huge low. What is the point of coming up with detrimental chants that will drop our confidence even lower? The 'second string' were given a chance on Wednesday. They failed. But lets not forget how the third longest manager in the Premier League started out. 4 points out of 30 in 2018. now sitting 9th in the Premier League
  16. Selles says it's about more than him.... He backs that up.

    Ruben Selles

Yes because promoting Thomas Frank failed miserably for Rasmus Ankerssen at Brentford, he wouldn't do that again...

Chose not to buy them, or were too close to the Profit and sustainability rules threshold.?

But take positives from the negatives.... If NJ hadnt got us deep into the mire, would we have made different player choices? Would we have outlayed the second highest expenditure on Europe in the window? Onuachu, Kamaldeen and Alcaraz
  22. but as FBREF has classed him as a midfielder in the Chelsea match.... let use that tab... Chelsea vs. Southampton Match Report – Saturday February 18, 2023 | FBref.com
