Britain's Next Top Prime Minister - Labour Leadership Election 2020.
Nolan replied to CB Fry's topic in The Lounge
They were all complicit in trying to elect Corbyn. This leadership election will be synonymous with the conservatives 2003 leadership election. There will need to be at least another general election and another Labour intake free of the stench of Corbynism before they become electable again. Starmer and Lady Nugee will be a huge two fingers up at the workers in the North. Long Bailey's Socialism wont work. Jess Phillips' simple contrarianism is light-weight. Nandy was looking like someone scared at a job interview on Ridge on Sunday. Clive "on your knees b!tch" lewis has the history of Clive Lewis. Ian Lavery - well every body knows how much money he got out of a 10 person union. if they want to get anywhere they need to find an MP whos been out of the limelight recently.. Ben Bradshaw or Dan Jarvis for example. -
"Salzburg, who have "a different and completely independent setup."" Who is to say Southampton could also not be different and completely independent.

Seeing as we've ruled out Gao and Red Bull, Is there a list of people Saints are allowed to be owned by? Theoretically if you had a halo and wings we would have to be "the angels" if RB did take us over.

There is no problem with VAR. There is a problem in the rules that VAR is ruling on. Simplify and tidy up the rules so more decisions are binary rather than subjective and VAR will run smoothly.

Apologies, i was quoting the methodology that a lot of people on the left use. Thats the methodology showing 14 million people in the UK were in poverty, and that about 4 million children were in poverty. Glad you agree that it's bull. The social metrics commission. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/uk-poverty-levels-childcare-disability-ocial-metrics-commission-finances-a8540941.html

Its actually mathematically impossible to get rid of poverty using the lefts current way of measuring it. "They effectively place all families in the UK in a line, from those with the most resources to those with the least. The family in the middle is the “median family”. Any family that has 54% or less of what that median family has is defined as being in poverty. Why 54%? Actually, the SMC itself openly admits this is a “largely arbitrary” choice"

Training and preparation for customs clearances and the like in no deal, what will be restricted for export from the UK etc. Learning what the EU are being petty about. Is your industry not ready for no deal? You've had 3 ½ years to prepare.
-
Well. It makes sense. To stop Lawyers taking you to court, make it law. And it does provide certainty. I've already had all my industry no deal training pre October 31st, implementing it is not an issue.

Theres nearly two million people in Northern Ireland and Gibralter. One doesn't have conservative candidates, the other doesn't vote in general elections.

Ah Tony Blair... June 13 2001 In a jointly written article with the spanish prime minister, Jose Maria Aznar, in the Financial Times, he said the euro "is changing the face of Europe" and the European Central Bank has delivered low inflation and high growth across the continent. He also stressed the damage done to British business by exchange rate fluctuations. He said: "Europe's economic fundamentals are sound: sounder than they have been for over a generation. Feburary 2 2000 Mr Blair told the Commons that Tory opponents who had ruled out joining the euro in the next parliament were "foolish and backward". He said he would not rule out the possibility of Britain joining the euro in the next parliament and insisted that keeping open the option of joining, subject to a referendum, was in the best interests of the British economy.

Surprised that both West Ham goalie and the Refs look to be in yellow.

Tried watching the game through the X Box One S and the picture was constantly stuttering. Watching through the App on the Phillips TV works fine.

I didn't watch the games last night. But Amazon Primes 4k programmes pic quality and their live tennis coverage have been fantastic. (i watch through an X Box One)

The Conservatives have actually put Safe Standing in their Manifesto... Pg 26 "We will set up a fan-led review of football governance, which will include consideration of the Owners and Directors Test, and will work with fans and clubs towards introducing safe standing."

The United Kingdom and the Death of Boris Johnson as we know it.
Nolan replied to CB Fry's topic in The Lounge
Yes, but attempting to reform the institution looking into the anti-semitism in their party isnt the best looking way of dealing with it. https://www.politicshome.com/news/uk/political-parties/labour-party/news/108205/labour-accused-‘undermining’-anti-semitism-probe -
I take it you disagree with women being able to wear what they want then, Locksy?

Have you actually read his article "Denmark has got it wrong. Yes, the burka is oppressive and ridiculous – but that's still no reason to ban it"?
-
I'm unsure if that's a parody post Shroppie.... Are you being serious? The reason the story moved back onto anti semitism is because there wasn't a story in the NHS.

Oh, Jonny.... You're not very good at this are you. Speaking on the election campaign trail during a visit to Cornwall, Johnson was asked if he would apologise for the Islamophobia that has taken place in his party. "Of course, and for all the hurt and offence that has been caused,? he responded. "And all that is intolerable and it's so important as a country that we don't allow that kind of thing and that's why we're going to have the independent inquiry. We are going to have an independent inquiry into Islamophobia, anti-Semitism, every manner of prejudice and discrimination and it will start before Christmas," he said. "I'm sorry for what was said" , is very different to "I'm sorry if you were upset by what was said". He says the latter. It is what is known as a 'non-apology'. "Member of Labour put up for interview on Radio 4's Today programme by Labour, defends Labour shocker"
-
Apologising for hurt caused by something that is said IS NOT apologising for the thing that is said. You are saying 'I'm sorry you find this offensive'.

Why on earth are people sharing Russia Today videos from people who created the graphic posts that got Naz Shah suspended by the Labour Party?
