  1. Well. It makes sense. To stop Lawyers taking you to court, make it law. And it does provide certainty. I've already had all my industry no deal training pre October 31st, implementing it is not an issue.
  2. Theres nearly two million people in Northern Ireland and Gibralter. One doesn't have conservative candidates, the other doesn't vote in general elections.
  3. Ah Tony Blair... June 13 2001 In a jointly written article with the spanish prime minister, Jose Maria Aznar, in the Financial Times, he said the euro "is changing the face of Europe" and the European Central Bank has delivered low inflation and high growth across the continent. He also stressed the damage done to British business by exchange rate fluctuations. He said: "Europe's economic fundamentals are sound: sounder than they have been for over a generation. Feburary 2 2000 Mr Blair told the Commons that Tory opponents who had ruled out joining the euro in the next parliament were "foolish and backward". He said he would not rule out the possibility of Britain joining the euro in the next parliament and insisted that keeping open the option of joining, subject to a referendum, was in the best interests of the British economy.
  4. Surprised that both West Ham goalie and the Refs look to be in yellow.
  5. Tried watching the game through the X Box One S and the picture was constantly stuttering. Watching through the App on the Phillips TV works fine.
  6. I didn't watch the games last night. But Amazon Primes 4k programmes pic quality and their live tennis coverage have been fantastic. (i watch through an X Box One)
  7. ah, a disguised Public health England initiative.... I did the "your Mind plan" thing. put in as every thin g was A OK. and it still told me to try Yoga.
  8. The Conservatives have actually put Safe Standing in their Manifesto... Pg 26 "We will set up a fan-led review of football governance, which will include consideration of the Owners and Directors Test, and will work with fans and clubs towards introducing safe standing."
  9. Yes, but attempting to reform the institution looking into the anti-semitism in their party isnt the best looking way of dealing with it. https://www.politicshome.com/news/uk/political-parties/labour-party/news/108205/labour-accused-‘undermining’-anti-semitism-probe
  10. I take it you disagree with women being able to wear what they want then, Locksy?
  11. Have you actually read his article "Denmark has got it wrong. Yes, the burka is oppressive and ridiculous – but that's still no reason to ban it"?
  12. I'm unsure if that's a parody post Shroppie.... Are you being serious? The reason the story moved back onto anti semitism is because there wasn't a story in the NHS.
  13. Oh, Jonny.... You're not very good at this are you. Speaking on the election campaign trail during a visit to Cornwall, Johnson was asked if he would apologise for the Islamophobia that has taken place in his party. "Of course, and for all the hurt and offence that has been caused,? he responded. "And all that is intolerable and it's so important as a country that we don't allow that kind of thing and that's why we're going to have the independent inquiry. We are going to have an independent inquiry into Islamophobia, anti-Semitism, every manner of prejudice and discrimination and it will start before Christmas," he said. 14. "I'm sorry for what was said" , is very different to "I'm sorry if you were upset by what was said". He says the latter. It is what is known as a 'non-apology'. "Member of Labour put up for interview on Radio 4's Today programme by Labour, defends Labour shocker"
  15. Apologising for hurt caused by something that is said IS NOT apologising for the thing that is said. You are saying 'I'm sorry you find this offensive'.
  16. Why on earth are people sharing Russia Today videos from people who created the graphic posts that got Naz Shah suspended by the Labour Party?

  18. Jeremy Wilsons Tweets: Matt Crocker will return to Southampton as new director of football operations, replacing Ross Wilson. Crocker has been at FA since 2013 where he was a contender last year to become technical director. Previously academy manager at Southampton. Announcement later today Some added detail on Matt Crocker - same title as Ross Wilson but plan is for him to have a role more similar to that of Les Reed previously whereby he oversees broader strategy through the age groups. Southampton still looking to appoint someone else specialising in recruitment
  19. Kitzbichler was appointed as opposition analyst / first team assistant coach. Which replaces Rohls position.
  20. because if you want to cause bad feeling you do something without everybody involved, and you are less productive if you are introducing a new training team multiple times.
  21. Given that the International only came back yesterday. If a new coaching team had been constructed they would have only been introduced to it yesterday. and then its reasonable to assume that the earliest any announcement can be made for it is today,
  22. Agree wholeheartedly. The problem with the transfer window (since exacerbated from the window shutting before the season starts) is that the only changeable part of the team is the manager. A slew of problems from getting players on overlong contacts to selling people like Targett is the issue. Not hassenhuttl.
  23. We played a lb at lb every match last season too.
  24. No, as Hassenhuttl was Successful before he Rohl was promoted to his assistant from analyst at Red Bull.
  25. It's not a blip. The biggest muck up of the summer was selling Targett. But we've got a situation, which i don't think is improved by changing managerial personnel. We would still have a back line that can't defend.
