Could be the best episode of Wife Swap of all time!
-
If in the running, given that his official height is recorded as 5ft 11ins, would it be OK to refer to Marsch as a 'big Jesse'? This could be a crucial factor in me supporting his candidature.

The dinner ladies...

Let’s hope it actually happens - god willing.

Sherlock Turkish!

Gallardo has a Brazilian. Allegedly.
-
Links to Juric over last 24 encouraging as vastly superior coach to Marsch IMHO. Hope they are also talking to the Iberian connection, Nuno and Bruno who are my one and two choices. Nuno masterstroke as a fit, Bruno a close second (more likely).
-
Would have been the perfect choice last November. A big stretch now but let’s hope so.

Like throwing a sausage up the M27.

But don’t challenge him to a ten pin bowling match.

He's the new duty manager at Cinnabon.
-
Looks like he has got one shag in him and that its holding him together.

Good summary. Nuno would be a superb choice but likely too late in the season for him to come now - November arrival he would have had us mid table. Lage I think is realistic and would set us up properly, an intelligent young coach. So personally my first and second choices. Bielsa would be great to see, but he is crackers and would have wanted longer with this squad plus demand a helicopter and a Yorkshire terrier in the office or somesuch. Pochettino no chance. Gallardo a roll of the dice but an exciting and credible roll. Marsch - frying pan into the furnace, less irritating than Jones but that's a very low bar. Ramus and Marty should be sectioned if they go near this. Gerrard, big name but I don't think would fit Saints and a dour bastard. Carrick is the manager than Ankersen thought he was getting in Jones, he'll stay where he is for now I would imagine as no major financial impetus to up sticks.

Essentially the footballing love child of Ralph Kruger and Nathan Jones. If this happens SFC is essentially trolling its fans whilst skipping into the void.
-
No chance of a happy ending when Janny B is involved!
-
I am feeling charitable this morning, so would like to say for the record fuck Nathan Jones and all who sail in him!
-
Thank goodness for that, I really can't think of a worse appointment that Ankersen could have made last November - Jones was his man pure and simple, and judgement was inept and appalling. Time for the club to regain some self-respect in terms of our remaining fixtures and commence planning for next season. Whether we look to hold the fort with Selles until the summer or bring someone new it will lift the club after Nathan Jones. I think we will see a more reasoned long term choice (Lage?) or an old head to see out remaining fixtures, but the club now have to get this absolutely right - the fans are owed that at least.

Beggars belief.

Absolutely, genetically and intellectually a perfect match.

Imagine being given one game to save your job, your cheerleader on the board requesting that his boy be given ‘one more chance’ and it’s grated. Then imagine that the game is against an underperforming Wolves side at home and you are 1-0 up against ten men with an hour to go. Their best player in recent weeks off the park and your new forward signing on fire. Imagine what it takes to blow that in terms of utter incompetence and lack of ability.

On reflection if the title of this post was edited to ‘worst manager’ or ‘worst Welshman’ perhaps ‘worst human’ Nat would once again be amongst Europe’s elite.

I would agree that Ankersen retains the potential to be that idiotic, compounding his error whilst revealing himself to lack both business and emotional intelligence. You have to think that the grown ups will step in now and take the damaged toy from the petulant child.
