Agree. Retaining him in this league likely to depend on who goes out the door before him in terms of the big money draws. Hopefully that’s the SR strategy. Would be brilliant to retain Livramento, Alacaraz, Sulemana and Tella and bring in players like Manning alongside. Find a target man who can finish with that kind of attacking intent supporting them and we will be in for a very exciting season.

Of course, and results are everything in top class sport, but he’s likeable. An attribute not to be taken lightly when considering the personalities (and lack of) in our recent history.

Speaks very well and comes over as earnest and thought out. Night and day compared to Jones.

Get Rasmus on the negotiation, the goldmine effect - £35 million and a buyback / sell on clause.
-
I don't doubt that - filthy swine!

Don’t tell them your name, Pike!

If Sport Republic have any ambition they'll erect a statue of Les Reed outside of St Marys to provide a bench mark reminder for their lofty ambitions. So with Ted Bates Itchen and Les Chapel, you could have Adam Blackmore before and after weight loss Kingsland and Northam for inspiration. Get it done Dragan!

Tell you what, with Ronnie Edwards paired with Ronnie Pickering at the back, no fucker is getting past!
-
Only place they did was Rangers, and I think he was using sign language.

45 grade 3 camels and 500 barrels of crude oil. Decent return all things considered.

Sheffield Weds 1-2 Saints - Match Thread
Miltonaggro replied to Yorkshire Saint's topic in The Saints
Adam Armstrong hat trick, plus an 85 pass special ending in a back-heel from the resurgent Jack Beckenbauer Stephens. Easy. -
Plus a night out with Rasmus Ankersen.

This is shaping up for an 9.5 window and we've only bought two players so far

The initial image of the Brazilian Alan Bennett that came to mind was Lyanco in a duffel coat and National health specs nasally droning on about Mrs Thrupwaite’s rheumatism! On balance I would have probably preferred that to him attempting to play football for SFC.
-
Probably brokered after OR made golden boy Grealish look a complete tit in the 1-1 draw in January 22. Romeu had the headband helmet in his pocket all afternoon that day - on the park and in the tunnel

Great footballer and a top man by all accounts, a rarity in the modern game. Delighted for him and hope he gets the opportunity to turn it on against the Prem franchises in the Champions League.

That's right, mad Nate, motivational masterclass. I always rated DCC and wanted him at Saints long before he arrived. Would love him to stick around and come good but think he sees his future elsewhere, likely under the Anatolian sun.

Feel that Evans could be a good addition for Saints this season, particularly as we have assembled a clutch of Irish youngsters.
-
Yes, pretty much my take, but a genuine football man so we have hope. The bit that got my attention was him saying that he wants a rapid promotion and Saints established as a solid top ten Premier League club. Proof in the pudding and all that but a great deal better than the non-competitive sports day / lucky to participate bollo we've had to endure from the Boardroom in our recent history.

Same issue in terms of physical strength, a serious area of weakness for Bazunu. Not the kid’s fault but this won’t improve significantly in the next couple of weeks. Still hoping they sign a solid experienced keeper to compete.

Good positive interview and looks like he means business. Maybe he could take a couple of coaching sessions to show the forwards how to finish - some crackers here:

Probably the right place and level for Jose now, good luck to him. I’ve been to the Braga FC stadium (municipal) and its nuts and superb. One end is built into the side of a rockface and the local nickname translates to ‘the quarry’.

Milford, Christ, what an utter tool!
