Ivan Katalinic's 'tache

Explanation required! Sounds like you might know something...

Heard any more Toomer?

Well, IF it is us, I hope he's coming wanting to play for Saints and not just because the other teams he fancied joining didn't come up with the funds. Better to miss out than sign a good player who's heart really isn't in it.

The winner.

Adkins moves Cork to Southampton

This is kind of the way I had interpreted the statement, particularly as he didn't go on to say anything about being due to meet him for talks (from the Tweets I've seen anyway). The stuff on the Chelsea forum is encouraging, though, so hopefully it's NC has let NA spill the beans as it's all about to be wrapped up.

What a Cork-er! After his 40 yard screamer defeats the Skates...

Which could be translated as 'don't expect to see any new faces soon...'

For anyone hoping we'd replace Davis with ex-Scunny keeper Joe Murphy, I see he's signed for Cov today.

Football rumours (yes, I know!!) has us linked with Adam Barton of PNE. BS most probably but HCDAJFU most definitely IMO.

Bringing Gary Lineker back from Japan in the 90s is my fave. Appeared on the back of some of the red tops. He retired instead...

Eh? Have I missed something?

Yep, biggest disappointment was Delgado, especially the way the club built him up. Niemi for unexpected great signing? Remember thinking Jonah's fine, why do we want another keeper?!! He turned out to be a bit good though...

Apart from a few suggestions on various message boards, has there been anything which confirms us as the side who bid for Sharp? At what point will we need to change the thread title to Sharp rumour cools down?!

Austin signed for Burnley & Cork has been linked with Burnley despite long TSW threads. There could be a common denominator here but I just can't work it out...

I thought we were meant to be that club??? Would put down a bit of a marker if it was us, IMO.

It's called "lackofsigningsitis". Many of us on here suffer from it so don't worry.

I'm going to stick my neck out and say it's us; deal done before Euros and confirmed now he's back as it's all quite soon after we were knocked out. Nothing on West Ham forum 'Knees Up Mother Brown'. Cue announcement from West Ham saying "we are delighted to confirm the signing of Jack Cork..."

Not doubting you for a mo but source!!

It's all in the name...!

*** Over reaction to a light-hearted thread alert *** I think you'll find it's pretty realistic to assume Messi, Rooney, Ronaldo and most current international household names won't be queuing up to sign for us in the CCC. Beyond that, who knows.

Genius. Do you write all your own material?

Good plan. Will add one once there've been a few more responses!

Forgot to say that each player can only appear once so the suggestion goes with the first person to make it!
