Is this a HCDAJFU type thread or is there a real chance we're trying to bring him back?

Be interesting to see the line-up tonight. Wonder whether the starting XI will be more akin to NA's first choice line up or whether it'll be a complete mix up & a different team each half, as against Biel-Bienne? Also wonder Jack Cork is up to speed yet or whether he's still playing catch up after the extra time off after the U21 tournament.

For the glory and the endless trophies, no?! In reality, I have family from both Hampshire & Sussex and my Saints supporting Uncle got me into Saints before my Brighton supporting Uncle tried to make me a Seagull (he tried hard to change my mind in the 80s, even giving me his 1983 Cup Final programme but they lost so that was never gonna work!). My Dad has no allegiance having moved here from abroad, has never been to a match and has 'supported' amongst others from the comfort of his armchair: Ipswich (when they were doing well), Liverpool (when they were doing well) & Man Utd (now they are doing well). I took my son (aged 2 years, 11 months) to his first game (when we were relegated to League 1 by losing to Burnley) just in case that was to be our final ever season and that our final ever home match. Things were looking bleak at the time! Now 5, he's already a committed Saint, knows a few of the player songs and loves going along. Looking back, correct decision made even though I live near Brighton and all I hear is about their "marvellous new stadium". Looks a bit small to me...

Excellent stuff but announced a bit early for me. I normally don't get out of bed until 11.23pm.

Stories I heard about his time at Plymouth were that he was unhappy being so far from London and, when he moved here, he thought he'd be happier being closer. Apparently not. Doubt a few miles up the M27 will make much difference. Swap him for Henry at Millwall and I'm sure we'd both be happy.

Well, IF it is us, I hope he's coming wanting to play for Saints and not just because the other teams he fancied joining didn't come up with the funds. Better to miss out than sign a good player who's heart really isn't in it.
