Ivan Katalinic's 'tache

Michail Antonio gone on a month's loan to Colchester. Good when we had him but having to go back to Reading really stalled his progress IMO.

Agreed. This serial hope raiser needs to be caught and brought to justice.

Could just mean that they're not actively looking to sell him but if we were to offer sufficient cash, I'm sure they'd take it...

Just asked this guy for an update and this is what he tweeted himself...

Maybe the plan to get a new defender was never about buying a CB but get a better left back? Could be the original idea was to use Jemal at LB rather than in the centre? Fox does seem a step up from what we've already got whatever.

Maynard is coming? Good to see players so excited to be joining Saints! Seriously, hope the OP's news proves correct.

Neil Sheep-perley

Colin C-RAM-b

Ivan CAT-alinic. I'm not obsessed with him. Really.

One thread covers Ebanks the other focuses on Blake.

Let's hope those deals going on in the background, which were going to happen irrespective of Chamberlain, happen quite quickly! Interesting that it's "deals", plural...

Shame Bristol City's game has been called off. If he had had a medical with us, I doubt whether he'd have played for them tonight. Hopefully irons were in the fire from the moment we were aware Oxo was off & someone will be joining soon. The rumours of 'massive' bid(s) on Friday, if true, would tend to support this theory.

They're only planning to loot Southampton because they've heard we've suddenly come into a lot of money...

Depends how close to signing he is. Could be medical first, terms afterwards, in which case could be a while yet.

Whoever he is, let's hope he's right...

Bye Alex. Thanks for the little you did for Saints & the exorbitant fee you brought in. Thank god the saga is over. More importantly, who we bringing in?!

Now Chambo's all but gone - maybe it was his departure being finalised? Such is the professionalism at Saints nowadays, though, I wouldn't be surprised to see some of that cash go straight back out and a signing be announced tonight!!

99p for Maynard? Get the deal done!

I reckon it'll be Gorkss with Puncheon going the other way. When doing my QPR correspondent bit the other day, someone on the Rangers forum was guessing it'd go through today.

Yes, someone's got to put the name on the shirt! I'm sure Cortese doesn't sit there scribbling it on in biro just before the photoshoot...

It's not one of these "injuries" which prevents a player from playing right before a big money move, is it...?

That's where I went wrong. It's touch screen & I was standing... Nonetheless, did I make my point?

Bloody phones!

Don't think that's the guy they showed on the screen in the ground though. Not the fella I thought I saw although it was only a quick glance!
