Interesting to see how many of us want to turn Brighton over (myself included) considering we don't "care" about them. Presumably it's mainly Poyet-based but interesting nonetheless.

Brighton definitely. Used to quite like them but that evaporated when Poyet started his nonsense. A big win home and away with every goal away from home being contentious and with Poyet whining like a b1tch about each but ultimately being unable to do anything about them. Forest was another (job done although not to the extent I'd like!) and Cardiff (should be playing in the Welsh Leagues instead).

Just started a thread suggesting we sign Tamas Priskin. This seems to have been met with universal derision. This would be my first ever 'you know nothing about football' moment as my opinions have been, up until that point, perfect. Apart from the time I thought Ian Branfoot would be a welcome change from Chris Nicholl. And the time I suggested Andreas Jakobsson might turn out to be the new Svensson. And he was, he defended just like Anders....

They were right in the end though, weren't they, as he ended up at Arsenal. Also, I'm sure I read that NC said (at the fans dinner) that we believed Oxo had had a secret medical at Arsenal during January, which considered reporting to the FA - maybe this is what the Mirror were reacting to? Think Sordell would be a cracking signing, if there's anything in this, maybe even more so than Rodriguez.

I remember reading some advice from someone (maybe on here) who said when faced with the problem of children being tempted by either teams to tell them this: when you pay rent you can choose the team you support. Until then you support the team I choose for you!

My 5 year old son is a Saint & well and truly hooked after attending 10 or so games. Grandad, from Cornwall, has had a go at getting him to support his local team (Arsenal) but failed miserably (thankfully). My 3 year daughter is also showing an interest in Saints although all she says is that she supports Rickie Lambert.

OP spoke out of turn mentioning attending this. We now have a new speed bump along Britannia Road...

Give him a contract til January to see if he can prove himself. If not, or if he proves disruptive, send him on his way. If he can recapture former glories, then we'd have ourselves a bargain.
