Disappointing but hopefully we'll have made the bid early enough in the day to be focussing on a new target by now. Didn't someone say we'd bid for Ebanks-Blake?
Cov poised to sign Cody McDonald from Norwich according to Sky. As a side with no money at all, they must be expecting a few quid to be coming in soon...

Looks like Middlesborough are making a move for Jutkiewicz. Our interest here is noted too; would like to see us make a move for him, especially as he's started the season well.
Maybe we'll look to sort out a deal while we're up in Leicester this weekend? Must have something about him to be selected for the U21s this time round.
Maybe the talks or medical didn't go according to plan at Upton Park? Or maybe he preferred the chance to move to the South Coast instead? Would be good if so!
Steve Bruce said earlier this week that there were Championship sides interested - plural. Ipswich & Saints are 2 rumoured to have been interested; maybe there were more and this was us telling him to hurry up or we'll move on. All guesswork but Pilch, you're hinting that this could be close? Opinion or something stronger?
I reckon Kilgallon has always been our target & the whole Fontaine thing was a nudge to him to get a move on. Ipswich look like signing Sonko, and they were one side looking at Kilgallon, so maybe this will proceed now? Could he be Killer Mk 2?
Would ordinarily agree but Sven is a curious character & I get the impression that if your face doesn't fit, he'll ignore you regardless of how good you are especially if you're not a Sven signing. Waghorn may fall into this category.
Maybe I'm biased but his (already dire) performances in charge of Saints games seem to intensify (against Saints) following the incident vs Blackburn, in Luggy's last game in charge, where he forgot to send off Barry Ferguson.
He has earned the name Andy D'Arsehole in our house and probably many more around the country too...
