Probably a good idea to give him an away game to restore his confidence a bit. Another home game, with potentially 30k Saints fans holding their breath every time the ball went near him, could've finished him off. Good stuff.

If we're looking for a finisher then Cox is a good option. Type of name we should be looking at, IMO, as he's better than we already have alongside Lambo.

Sounds like its all done bar the permit, as Colinjb says, otherwise we wouldn't be confirming anything (+ we must be pretty confident on that too to release details on the OS). I'm guessing he'll take the vacant no 19 shirt as he's pictured wearing 19 for Japan on the OS?

Maybe this is the piece of "misinformation". Maybe it's true to say that we're not interested in "Sharp & Maynard" because we're only interested in Sharp? Maybe we've used the Beeb to distance ourselves whilst the deal is finalised? Just guesswork but it would be great if it's true because I think Sharp gives good options alongside or instead of Lambo.

Being half Chinese, I'm gutted to see some of the terms some of my fellow Saints fans are using to describe a potential new signing. Some of the terms used are as offensive to Oriental people as words like n*gger, coon & wog are to black people yet it's all seen as a bit of a joke. In way, I hope Lee doesn't sign to spare him some of the support he'd get from some on here. It'll also be interesting to see whether Sordell, for instance, attracts the same style of comments if he were to sign...
