  1. Then there is no hope for you and those like you, that for one or possibly two weekends, sport takes a back seat whilst the respectful and unselfish amongst us mourn our Queen. Of all the on-line sites I have been on this morning, this is the only one with negative and nasty comments. I thought Saints fans were better than that.
  2. No disrespect to Graham Potter but I don't consider him as competent a coach as Tuchel. Brighton may be going through a good patch at present but once the dust settles they are at best, mid-table. Potter will need to be getting instant results, or else. Meanwhile, Adam Lallana is temporary coach. Lucky old Brighton.
  3. I think you'll find Dinamo Zagreb struck the killer blow, not Saints.
  4. Aubameyang isn't the easiest player to keep under control as Arteta is well aware. Tuchel had worked with him before so knows how to keep him in his place. Aubameyang at his best is a good player which Chelsea appear to need at the moment. Be interesting to see how he behaves now.
  5. I didn't have Tuchel down on my 'At Risk' list. The new owner I suppose. Brighton have been asked for permission to speak to Graham Potter. The secure world of football management.
  6. Brentford are looking solid this season so far. Toney scored a hat trick yesterday so will need close marking. I am hoping for at least a point but with our misfiring strikers, not so sure.
  7. 1 step forward and 2 back. I had hoped we would build on our result against Chelsea but then I remind myself I am a Saints fan. I was getting confident about Brentford, now I am not too sure.
  8. Tuchel had a face like a slapped arse. I wondered if Ralph might get a clout around the ear from him at full time.
  9. I think MOTD is on this evening. Hopefully they will show Saints goals. Worth watching them again.
  10. My Chelsea loving son was gracious in defeat and said Saints have some undiscovered diamonds in the making. Let's hope he's right. Thoroughly enjoyed the game. Full of fight and promise and with the exception of Cucurella, made the Chelsea team look average. More of the same please Ralph.
  11. I can't stand him. A proper cissy and a cry baby. My point, having watched our match, was how he was left unmarked, directly in front of our goal for him to score.
  12. He is a wanker who was left unmarked in front of goal and given the chance to score by 5 of our players.
  13. Lucky old Sampdoria. I had a nasty feeling he may have been on his way to another team beginning with S. And breathe.........
  14. Man City v Chelsea will get rid of one of the big clubs. I was hoping for Crawley Town away as that's quite close to me.
  15. I am telling myself that the Man U we have seen over recent seasons seem to turn up against the big clubs but fall off a cliff when they are up against the lower teams. I am hoping they revert to type on Saturday at lunchtime.
  16. Fickle lot some football fans. I bet it was packed the year they won the league.
  17. Well done Saints. Never liked Maddison ever since he thought he was too good to sign for us. I was hoping Che would get another. Up the league we go!
  18. I think he gets some sort of warped pleasure from admitting he made a mistake, knowing there isn't anything the club can do except face up to the points he likely lost them with his lousy decisions.
  19. I hated Mike Dean reffing our games. He came across as biased and I think I can remember 2 red cards he happily waved at our players not that long ago being recinded by the FA. I wasn't sorry to learn that he was hanging up his whistle and shoving his cards somewhere where the sun doesn't shine at the end of last season. Good riddance, I thought. However, he hasn't gone for good and is in the VAR office. Last Saturday, Anthony Taylor, was ref for the Chelsea v Spurs match. He had an unimpeded view of the incident where Cucurella ends up on the pitch after getting pulled down by his hair. No reaction from Taylor who lets the game continue and Spurs get an undeserved equaliser. This decision caused a bust up at the end of the match and I, along with the pundits, was puzzled why the ref hadn't given something for the foul. Step up Mike Dean who has now admitted he made a mistake in not getting Taylor to review the incident which would have resulted in a likely red card. Dean needs to step away from any form of referreing. Tuchel wants to ban Taylor from officiating at any future Chelsea games, perhaps he could include getting Dean banned from anything football related as well. I won['t miss him.
  20. Feels he's a dead man walking, perhaps?
  21. Well let's hope so. We can play some decent football when players are in their best position and solid decisions have been made on formation and tactics. Unfortunately Ralph likes to tinker or stubbornly sticks with game plans which don't work and then it all falls off a cliff.
  22. If only.........
  23. Good point. Man U having a similar problem. I hope we can strengthen the team and I would like to see them played in position and Ralph getting a grip. Ever the optimist!
  24. With just one pitiful match under our belts Ralph must be firm favourite for the first Premiership manager to be shown the door this season. I have given up trying to work out his tactics. Get rid of him before too much damage is done. He has been here long enough and is clearly never going to change. Yesterday showed that.
  25. I see plenty of black players so what is your point?
