All of these clubs have multiple targets and will have likely moved on already - Leicester signing Gonzalez instead it seems. Moffi is not worth more than 25 million so if his agent/club are trying to create a bidding war then we should definitely move on and fast. Ideally if we could get somebody in before Villa at home next weekend, but I wouldnt be hopeful

We've just made a semi final by comfortably beaten the Champions, without them having a shot on target. Why shouldnt he give it the big one. Agree to disagree. There were games last season including Spurs away where JWP won the game for us with his passing and balls into the box which led to two goals. In those games he was allowed to push forward and was given the protection by Romeu. Also most of our defensive lapses this season have been a result of individual errors or being poor at defending set pieces. Playing two DMs will make little difference if we continue to do that

Imo JWP shouldnt be considered as a DM as hes better suited going forward where he can get into shooting range and be able to put dangerous crosses in. If we're going with a 4-2-3-1 then I would prefer if we signed another DM as JWP/Diallo are not strong options for that role beside Lavia. Would rather we played a 4-1-4-1 with Lavia playing behind a more advanced centre mid combo of either JWP/Alcaraz/Armstrong (when fit)/Aribo

Alcaraz certainly looks a talent but its also a big gamble given his age and playing in a foreign league for the first time will take him out of his comfort zone. That being said, there have been recent PL successes from South America like MacAllister, Caicedo and Martinelli. Although this has taken time through loans etc. We need a player who is capable of making an impact now, a bit like Alvarez at City, not somebody we have to be patient with as being in the Championship next season is a real possibility. Our player recruitment has been decent in recent windows, and with the calibre of teams interested in Alcaraz, fingers crossed we've got ourselves a gem
