Im sure the meltdown on their forum hasnt reached SWF levels
-
Would be my team as well. We dont have the depth in quality with our strikers to go with two up top. Would rather we packed the midfield and gave Edozie and Djenepo some freedom. Maybe DCC for Salisu but not bothered either way

Undoubtedly number 3. Some mental analysis too. Cant believe I've read that Jones is having to play 5 at the back because Sports Republic said so ð
-
In the hat which is all that matters. BUT If we play like that when the PL returns then it will not be pretty. I hope we havent been working on 5 at the back for the past 40 days as it clearly didnt work. Hopefully Jones recognises that. We're still missing clear chances. Its one thing seeing flaws on the training pitch but thankfully Jones has seen them on the pitch when it matters and very early into his tenure (not 5 PL games later).

The last 40 days had been a refreshing break from the meltdowns on here. We havent been great but fuck you'd think doomsday was upon us
-
Why not appreciate both? I really dont get the hate on social media towards one or the other as we've been very fortunate to see two players at this level for so many years. Messi has been my number 1 and this cements it, but Ronaldo has silly records/numbers in his career too. It has been a terrible few months for Ronaldo's stock but he's had a great run

Im sure he does ðĪŠ

What a whopper of an assumption that is. Are you a body language expert?
-
Fucking hell. I was referring to Turkish waiting until the window before passing judgement, not the club waiting until then before starting any approaches. But you crack on sure ðð
-
Because you're making it out to be so straight forward which it isnt. I'm pretty sure if our no1 target was available and we could get him in for January 1 then we would. How many other PL clubs have signings completed ready to join on Jan 1?
-
Its not football manager fs. Perhaps the striker(s) we're targeting arent available as yet, maybe their clubs are looking for a replacement before selling, maybe they were playing in the WC and want to ensure they dont get injured before agreeing a deal.....theres lots of different reasons why nothing has been confirmed and biggest reason of all, its the january window which has always been a slow window compared to the summer one.
-
We're still weeks away from the window opening. Maybe wait until then?

Certainly wouldnt be putting AA and Che in the same 'pony' basket. Che's goals and assists have been vital for us the last few years (7 in the PL last season and 9 the season before). Yes he's missed quite a few sitters this season, but hes still 4 goals in 14 PL games and is getting himself in the right positions. He's been a good signing for ÂĢ15m. Wasnt long ago he was getting praised on here after running Spurs ragged during our win there last season. Our main issue is the lack of another striker who can put up the same or better numbers. We need that in January.

An italian striker is just what we need to steer us away from relegation
-
Good thing Scotland never made the WC to put Ryan Frazer in the spotlight ð
-
Was the same not said about Croatia 4 years ago lol
-
Thats Goncalo Ramos out of our reach now too ð

100% agree there has to be a balance and why it would probably make sense to target more experienced players in the window, provided they add quality to our squad in key areas. Tbf I think Mara and Larios were signed for future development, but as a consequence of the failure to sign another striker and injuries at full back, they've both been thrown in at the deep end. They havent diagraced themselves but we need better right now.
-
Aye because its working out well for Forest and has worked out well for the likes of Fulham in the past hasn't it? Established players, whatever that actually is, means very little if they're not good enough. Some of the five year olds we've signed - Lavia, ABK, Edozie are actually putting some our 'established' players to shame from what we've seen of them. The likes of Broja done pretty well last season too. Its not hard to see that the biggest issue has been the failure to sign a striker and possibly also a creative midfielder in the summer. If we address that in January then we've a good chance of staying up - but they have to be good enough at this level, established or not
-
Yep. After years of racking up caps for Poland due to a lack of competition at CB, Bednarek has now been ousted by Jakub Kiwior (plays for Spezia). Maybe hes regretting his loan move. Likely would have gotten more minutes at us, especially with ABKs injury and us playing 3 at the back some games
-
Sad thing is, there will be some on here that will be itching to dig out their posts from 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 to tell us all that they warned us and they saw relegation coming. Weirdos
-
The same Rashford who has been missing chances galore for United this season? I wouldnt get carried away with his performance, especially with Danny Ward giving him a helping hand for both goals
-
Its not hard to comprehend, its all about money

Its ÂĢ1 per month for the next year. Almost as cheap as what you would pay for the expert analysis on here
