Vitinha, Jesper Karlsson and Naby Keita. Hopefully its enough
-
Yep thats exactly why he signed. Nothing to do with the fact that his salary has probably been doubled

Injuries permitting.... McCarthy KWP ABK DCC Perraud Lavia JWP Aribo Armstrong Edozie Adams On paper that is a decent side, but obviously void of confidence. We need as much creativity on the pitch as possible and to me thats the best front 4 we've got. Also need to deal with the threat posed by Mitrovic. Perhaps Lyanco wouldnt be so bad in this game, could end up with both being sent off 😂. ABK and DCC for me. We badly need to start grinding out results, even if its ugly, and obviously stop making defensive mistakes. Going with 1-1, but will likely be another 3-1 loss.

Maybe early in his tenure. The last year or so some of his interviews were just delusional. We always seemed to be hard done by or really unlucky, when in reality we were outplayed and deserving of nothing. Jones is new in the job so he cant be laying into the players already. He has also talked about the importance of man management so we'll be getting plenty of watered down interviews

https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/statistik/endendevertraege Some decent names on there with their contracts expiring in the summer. Should go all out for Benzema, Depay, Kroos and Gundogan 😂😂 A CB we've been previously linked with is on there - Evan N'Dicka. Maybe we could be moving Salisu and/or Lyanco on. Previous links Moussa Dembele, Ryan Kent and Ben Brereton also on there
-
Lingard injured. Hammy it seems. We need all the help we can get
-
Just seen that Naby Keita is out of contract in the summer and will be available at a cut price. If there is any substance to the Lavia rumours then I wouldnt be adverse to selling him for 30m+ if (big if) we could bring in Keita for less than 10m and give us funds to strengthen elsewhere. As much a talent that Lavia is, his injury record for a kid is pretty poor. Keita has had his injury issues but would bring much needed experience. The problem is, would he want to come to a team bottom of the league. Could maybe do a 6 month loan

The Forest game already looking huge. They look every bit as uninterested/disorganised as we do
-
He has definitely upped his game since Fulhams last PL stint where he looked lost. In fact quite a few of Fulhams players have been revitalised. Silva doing a fantastic job there
-
Bring Tella back. Bednarek can do one
-
The only way we would be in for a new CB or recalling Bednarek is if we're planning on shipping one or two out. Salisu still not signed that new contract... Not our priority right now 🤦🏽♂️

Couldnt agree more 👍🏻
-
Revenue, capacity? Forgot they win you games of football. I'm sure the likes of Sunderland, Sheff Utd, Birmingham etc thought they would be safe because of their big support. Fact of the matter is the recruitment and the coaching of the players has been poor for a while now which is why we are where we are. Clubs like Brighton, Palace, Brentford etc with much less capacity, revenue etc are light years ahead of us right now in those depts
-
Ely has been one of our better players this season. Says it all really but he has warranted a start. I'll agree with you on Lyanco, was the wrong choice with ABK and DCC available Who else does he play in CM if you dont want him to play JWP and Diallo? Who else does he play up front with Che given our lack of striker depth and given AA and Mara's struggles? The fact of the matter is the squad is very limited
-
Did he ride your wife? Or are you a rabid atheist? Why have you so much hate for our new manager? You've mentioned sacked four times there like it gives you some weird hard on
-
Horrendous mistake for the first goal. It was right at him. Second one he should cut out the cross and as a defender (Perraud) you would expect the keeper to help you out. The cross was hardly fired across so his positioning was poor. I'm definitely no fan of McCarthy but he deserves a start against Fulham. Bazunu has shown some promise, but its been littered with quite a few silly mistakes. What you probably expect from a kid in his first PL season so the club shouldnt be shocked.
-
I want him to keep us up like any Saints fan would. Check the thread.
-
Further proof if needed that XG is an absolute nonsense stat
-
Wait til we return to the league one days and see how embarrassed he is then 😂. He will have switched to Citeh by then so dont worry
-
Does it really matter, your tireless efforts contributing to a 'Nathan Jones OUT' thread in the hope that Ankersen and SR see your posts and react swiftly to replace him this season will have proven futile. He's here until the end of the season so save some of that love you're throwing around for the manager and the players please
-
He may well be and if its best for the club then great. But that will be purely SRs decision, likely not determined by our watery fanbase, and certainly not by forum gimps foaming at the mouth after a managers first proper PL game in charge
-
Hounded out by who? SWF? 😂😂 If our fanbase were that ruthless then Ralph would have been gone 2 years ago. If we stuck with him for 4 years, then the owners will definitely stick with Jones, even with relegation. If needs be I'll have a pop at SR at the end of the season, not after Jones' first proper PL game and not before the transfer window has opened
-
Only just realised that I'm blocked from viewing this account. Must have said something to upset the princess running it
-
Of course he was recruited to keep us up, but jesus the sense of entitlement on here after 1 PL game is embarrassing. Theres people on here who think that because we've been in the PL for the past 10 years that its a given right now. For a club of our size and stature, fighting relegation is exactly where we ought to be. The club have brought in who they think is best, not just for now but for the future, and we have to trust their judgement. Its not about whether hes earned the right or not, any new manager needs backed to bring in the players he thinks he needs. The alternative is we keep sacking managers after a few bad results, without the chance to build a team and see where that gets us - hows Watford doing by the way?
-
Its all too predictable on here. Because hes not a well known ex-player or hasnt come from a foreign league, the knives were always going to be out for him after the first 1/2 bad performances. Yes it was bad today, but we've had new managers have all summer (more than 8 weeks) and we've started new seasons very badly. Theres obviously zero patience on here given our position and the dire season to date, but to say he should go is laughable. He deserves a chance to form his own team and few windows to do so. If that means we're in the Championship then so be it. Hes inherited a weak squad low on confidence which could take a while to turnaround. Yes we all hoped for a much better start but the club (particularly given Ankersen's influence in appointing Jones) are not going to sack him and the supporters need to get behind him and the players (hopefully more than a few new ones in January). A toxic St Marys will around worsen the situation.
