  1. Earns his new deal playing a couple of good games at LB… a few million quid for that. Cheers Martin Semmens
  2. I think he is an awful commentator. Tries to be all shakaspearial about everything. Quite something hearing the United camp cry about VAR…. FML
  3. Never a penalty at Arsenal. Good VAR’ing
  4. Karen Brady on the radio this morning talking all things West Ham. Stated that JwP was the No.1 target very early for their manager, and Moyes is the one who identifies players with his team and scouts and then the discussions start. She also suggested that Saints wanted A LOT for JwP and it was Saints who contacted West Ham and made the deal (by lowering their demands upfront and overall). On the flip side, Semmens on the radio the other night stated that with Ralph, the manager did NOT have the final say on transfers as he was just part of the committee....which I found strange.
  5. This is not working out, sadly. He is letting in the about the same amount
  6. Just wait till Ross Stewart is fit. Will he play him CM?
  7. probably right to be fair. There if course a chance he is not here by this game 😞
  8. Bit of a way off but the game at Sunderland is food for thought. This is first of 2 big home games in a few days, and against one of the follow 'big heads' in the league. If we remain ridiculously open, we will ship goals against this lot (and ipswich). No more excuses about players having their minds elsewhere, it is the same for most other clubs (including Leicester). My team... Bazunu KwP, THB, Bednarek, Manning Charles, Downes A.Armstrong, Alcaraz, Fraser Adams Subs - Lumley/McCarthy, Holgate, Bree, Smallbone, Edozie, SAA, S.Armstrong, Aribo, Sully (if they are all still here, which will probably not be the case) Yes, I would have A.Armstrong wide. He is decent there and works extremely hard forwards and back and has an eye for goal. We have to inject much more tempo into our build up and old choco-wrists has to stop letting in soft goals.
  9. Absolutely stealing a living. Still dining out on a pass against Leeds and a goal against Man City. Woeful player and hope he is one of those Wilcox mentions who could still leave. Has a fit mum though, so not all bad.
  10. Madness IMO
  11. The first time we were heavily beaten in our last promotion season (I know that is not an exact equivalence), we lost 3-0 away to Brighton (didnt we go down to 10 men?)...we then only lost 1 of the following 14 games.. There is no way this team, being this wide open, will match that. We have the tools to fix this and fix this immediately. Let see/hope we do.
  12. But both parties have to agree......legally, Greenwood has done nothing wrong, so it is far more complicated than saying "fuck off"
  13. He had a 94% pass accuracy yesterday tRusT ThE PrOcEsS
  14. You can't just do that? Che could just say, nah, sod the last years' worth of wages, I am off to Everton for nothing.
  15. What about now?
  16. We are already paying Ralph and Mad Nate to do f-all....can't add another to that list TruSt tHe pRoCEsS
  17. I flick through the highlights of Spanish games from time to time...and imagine being 20 years old and lording it in the Bernabeu He scored again (this time the winner in the 95th min).
  18. This needs fixing and fixing ASAP. The signs were there all from game 2. Norwich looked like they could score at will, Argyle had some very dangerous situations in the 1st half, QPR should have taken the lead and then there was Sunderland. Of course teams will conceded goals and teams will have chances...but fecking hell, we have the 2nd worst goals against in English professional football. 12 conceded in 5 games! As for what Holmes and Watson posted, the most conceded from a team finishing in the top 2 over the last 19 seasons is 58, with the average over that period being 42... Can Russell sort it? Well, he has the tools available to him.
  19. Just seen the goals again My christ.
  20. I fear you are right. But so far, the moment we face anyone of the better teams (not even the best), we shed goals for fun. We are wide open, and try to be way too clever. Previously, we had the 'noise' about all the players leaving. The squad we have now (with the window shut), the manager has no excuses. I don't mean we have a god given right to batter every team. That never happens. But just continuing as we are will lead to Martin's removal - simple as that. He has no reason to play so many players out of position...we has more tools at his disposal than literally everyone else in the league. We are already paying Ralph and Mad Nate to do gardening.....Martin has to work out
  21. When we did lose to Brighton, we only lost 1 of the next 14. I wonder if we can repeat that.
  22. Absolutely right. Last time we went up, we never even won the league, but no way did we get smashed like that. Edit - Bright and Blackpool away we lost 3-0 a piece. Didn;t we go down to 10 men in those games? The manager his zero excuses to be fair
  23. The fairy dust has definitely come away from Newcastle. Losing again. They will get a fisting in the Champions League, and their supposed amazing home atmosphere wont save them
  24. Said be before, Angus Gunn will have a better season than Baz. Our keeper is awful
  25. We have plenty of players to not actually need to do this.
