  1. Bottom-ing side (we are not bottom 6) v one chasing the CL. We will probably lose, but do so by making the exact same mistakes we have for the last 4 months
  2. For what it is worth, I read what was posted and it was pretty disgusting.
  3. At least one person has been examining history
  4. we all know that the next game will see a 442/4222 line up. lots of ponderous play with wide open spaces in the middle and around our fullbacks.

    Stamp Duty

Plus is it generally first time buyers that can tap into 95% mortgages. Not the so-called property hording middle classes.
  6. A very small club with a ground that holds 12k max, were able to stay up in the prem for a few season, mostly playing good football.
  7. It seems his footprint across the whole club is failing. Look at the state of the others teams at the club!
  8. All great news, but surely the big clubs wont let this idea just go away. I notice the statement from all/most is that the ESL has been 'suspended'! Man United have also said that they are "committed to working with others across football to come up with a sustainable solution". What they mean is - they want something else that factors in their own financial losses that ensures they remain ahead of nearly everyone else, so they can still pay Paul Pogba £400k a week etc. As a fan, the whole this seemed a farce but the cynic in me thinks there was an element of 'testing the water'. They have seen the reaction, and will now manipulate something else, whilst allowing fans/football to think they have won!
  9. That is their fault (like it is ours for buying crap and loaning them out/letting them go for free). Spurs didn't have to sign Bale and pay him £300k a week to sit on the bench. United do not have to keep Pogba (on his probable ridiculous salary), who has been largely awful and Chelsea/City don't have to buy everyone.
  10. Got to laugh at the clubs hanging on. Arsenal, Spurs for example. They have absolutely no place in a european super league anyway!
  11. Can't wait to tune in for more of the same. More 442, more negative football, more delusions from the manager. At least Kane will be out (so I read).
  12. Did we really "save ourselves" for that as the excuse for being smashed by WBA? Ralph has had his day, the players have clearly gone off him, for what ever reason.
  13. Arrested for working? Weird!

    Coronavirus

This would fit nicely on two different threads
  15. Another Labour secret weapon!!!
  16. Soljskear won the biggest job in England. Nothing to do with his talent though. Did Ralph ever play for Bayern?

Get loads of the lateral tests in the hands of the general population! Oh..... https://amp.theguardian.com/world/2021/apr/15/rapid-covid-testing-in-england-may-be-scaled-back-over-false-positives?__twitter_impression=true
  18. A white person stating that a black man was not black enough as he did not have black friends and didn't eat rice and peas.... Wow!!!
  19. Lets play a game called 'The Wheel of Racism'. Contestants must 'spin the wheel' to see what is now racist...Here goes; *SPINS WHEEL* Morrisons/Intimidating advertising https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/morrisons-shoppers-row-over-supermarkets-23911524?utm_source=twitter.com&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=sharebar
  20. 4 points. Beat Fulham and sneak a draw somewhere
  21. Have you ever thought that a big part of our problem is the manager's stubbornness to play variations of 442? We are routinely outnumbered in the middle of the park and face balls over the top of our fullbacks, compounded with our absolutely daftly slow, ponderous attacking play where we rarely get in behind. We have been worked out some time ago and the manager has no idea how to change it. Of course, better players help.
  22. We'll line up as per and get ripped apart. It will only be their wastefulness in front of goal that will ensure we are in the game for periods. After the game, there will be the usual excuses for the manager.

    Coronavirus

Oddly, Boris has now stated that the vaccine is not the cause of the amazing drop in cases (hospitalisations), and in fact, it is all down to the lockdown (which is the opposite of what he said a few weeks back). Data, not dates. Remember? Anyway, seeing as the vaccine is not as useful as we hoped ........
  24. I want to say that performance was shocking. It was not, it was purely the norm these days. We have been comfortably one of the worst teams in the division for many months. Not sure what so ever that Ralph is the man to take us into next season. None at all. That view started when he balled his eyes out at beating Liverpool, which was very strange.
