  1. Make your mind up. Earlier it was going to put the 'particularly vulnerable' at risk. Now you're worried about people going to work and parties with symptoms No one is insisting that people who have symptoms should still go to foam parties and prayer meetings. Do you really have no faith that the overwhelming majority of the public have the common sense to stay at home when they are ill? 141.4 million sick days in the UK in 2018 would suggest that quite a lot of people don't do the things you seem to be shitting yourself about when they are ill... You're all over the place on this.
  2. It's all clearly propoganda from Boris et al. Everyone knows that the Russians are able to sneak around, completely undetected until one day, WHAM and they've invaded your coutry without you even knowing. No need for a war when you have skillz like those.
  3. Complete non story! https://www.runnersneed.com/expert-advice/nutrition-and-hydration/energy-gels.html#:~:text=One gel provides about 45,attempts to process the sugar. Also, this bit is important : So taking on a gel during half time will give enough of a boost for the second half. Fergie time might come in to play, but the effects should be negligible for those that are supposed to be professional athletes.
  4. What the fuck are you babbling on about? In what way has the intention to scrap free tests stopped you (or anyone else) from taking a test if you are going to visit someone you know, who is particularly vulnerable, whether you have symptoms or not? Free tests have been scrapped, not tests altogether. You can crack on with testing until the cows come home, you'll just have to pay money to buy the tests. Now, I know you won't be against the idea of paying for tests, you've mansplained plenty of times over the past 2 and a bit years that you'd be happy to pay higher taxes to cover the furlough scheme, so £20 for a box of tests is a bargain isn't it? Not rocket science is it?
  5. Just when you thought petrol pump prices couldn't get any higher than their 'highest ever' price....
  6. How? Surely the risk would be from ending isolation for those testing positive (which, incidentally you've already agreed is the right thing to do if it is 'based on science') rather than ending free testing?
  7. Rosie Jones
  8. Didn't some of our 'stock' already die?
  9. To ensure he isn't prosecuted with a £100 fine 🤷‍♀️
  10. He's banking on us doing that tomorrow when he announces covid restrictions will end....
  11. Two fence panels down now. It's always so tough to pop them back into the concrete fence posts once the wind dies down
  12. Have no fear, I fully understood the the physical process you needed to follow to quote Turkish's post. What doesn't make sense is why you would do it. You claim to have him on ignore, the only reason for that is presumably because you have no interest in interacting with him, yet you went out of your way to sign in, take him off ignore, quote his post and reply to it. That's a lot of effort for someone you don't want to engage with, which, quite frankly, doesn't make any sense (unless of course you're lying about the whole ignore thing )
  13. This makes no sense. You need to be signed in to post a reply, which you did, even quoting Turkish. Do you really have zero self restraint when it comes to posting responses to users you've chosen to ignore?
  14. Guess where I am? One fence panel came down on Wednesday night - it can stay where it is until next week once these storms blow through.
  15. Move over Andy, you're last week's news. Now it's Charlie's turn to grab headlines with his cash for honours scandal coming back for round 2.
  16. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-60407010 How does a senior US official know this? Does this mean Russia has lost its ability to sneak around the globe and invade countries completely unnoticed?
  17. 😲Really, you wouldn't?
  18. It's always a Westerley, so I can get the advantage at the start of the ride and then have to slog back into it for the rest of the day!
  19. Looks like the 3rd Sunday in a row will be called off as 40-50mph winds are forecast once again!
  20. Whilst there is no doubt he's a grubby royal (is he still a royal or have they taken everything away?) and a paedo (in some countries), he's probably saved himself a fortune in legal fees by settling.
  21. I guess you think that Russia are able to launch a massive invasion of a neighbouring country without having any time to prepare and that no-one will notice an extraordinary amount of troops / weaponry massing on the border? They could have simply gone ahead and kept any invasion a secret so as not to allow Ukraine any time to prepare
  22. Do you mean the 'inter continental ballistic' missiles? The ones that can fly from the US to Russia in about 30 minutes or hit Russia from a submarine in about 10 minutes? Not to mention the ones already situated in mainland Europe. Seems a bit redundant to wage war on your neighbours for the sake of potentially saving a minute or two of flying time for the nukes that might end up on their doorstep. Lots of dead bodies to not actually achieve any gains. Securing the land to run a gas pipeline from Russia into South Eastern Europe seems like a far more sensible reason to want to occupy your neighbour though.....
  23. Yes. As Whitey has already pointed out but perhaps to re-inforce : https://www.drivingtestsuccess.com/blog/how-join-motorway
  24. People who are incapable of speeding up when the join the motorway.
  25. Uh, oh, he's gonna be mighty pissed off when he finds out the right wing has been all over F1 and they have taken the formal knee taking ceremony out of the weekends. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/60300614 Humanity 1 Gammons 1
