  1. Nice one, well done. You came to the same conclusion as I did, it just took you a year longer to do so! Luckily, I don't have to pretend I'm more clever than you when you provide the proof for me
  2. It's odd really, that given the open goal of finding a couple of quotes and the most intelligent person in the world can't be bothered! Not sure what your reading and comprehension level is like - hopefully it's better than our resident narcisist's - but this is EXACTLY what I was saying in 2017! I suppose imitation is the sincerest form of flattery
  3. And yet, the cleverest person in the whole wide world told all us dummies about it and can point to numerous posts on this thread highlighting just that, as he's claimed..... Unless you're avoiding digging out said posts as you don't want us to look even more stupid, which wouldn't be like you at all.
  4. You don't HAVE to, you choose to. That is not the case with the TV licence - which is what people are objecting to!
  5. Go for it - post the quotes.... I bet you can't, even posts from before the election when it was obvious to everyone that the EU was never going to negotiate.
  6. On 'Freeview'?
  7. It still can be, but it takes two to tango. For what it's worth, I've only ever made one prediction on here, which I still stand by. Simply put, there are too many grubby fingers in too many pies for any kind of deal to ever be agreed.
  8. Both are still 'feasible', pal. Whether they are 'achievable' is another matter, given that there are two sides involved in the negotiation, one can simply say 'no, non, nein' and the talks are scuppered. Hope that helps clear the matter up for you.
  9. Like the monarchy?
  10. Walking it, like they do every season.
  11. So a 'bespoke' deal then?
  12. Would the word 'super' make it exactly the same as the Canada deal or something potentially different?
  13. More astonishing that someone would need to prompt them to do it and they wouldn't think to do it themselves! Not really the right people to be giving political / any advice.
  14. Only once the TV licence has been scrapped
  15. Knowing you, you'd miss it
  16. Ah, yes, the limitless pot of income tax!
  17. What about littering, pets fouling the footpaths, parking on corners / pavements, swearing at other road users, having sex in public, sounding your car horn without good reason, drinking alcohol under 18, eating whilst driving, cycling on the pavement, pocketing change when given the wrong amount, being drunk in public, vacuuming between 18:00 and 08:00 on a weekday or 13:00 to 08:00 on a Saturday or Sunday? ALL of these are crimes, so I assume you can put together a fully costed budget highlighting how much it would cost to ensure that every single one of them is adequately dealt with - it would be defeatist not to bother, right? From that, you can tell us just how much more we will all have to pay in tax so these crimes don't go unpunished....
  18. Pretty sure most people have accepted this. Not sure you've noticed but the disagreement seems to be around which crimes are or aren't investigated.
  19. No wonder so many crimes go unpunished with all those morals slipping away
  20. Yes, everyone. It's dispicable behaviour from the monk and the elders.
  21. Hello, is that Mr Kettle? Mr Pot here.....
  22. Not sure it's the references in the Quran that are the evidence, more the radicalised nut jobs that then use those references to justify their brutality...
  23. Then there's the bible - that's a religious book isn't it? http://theconversation.com/how-the-bible-shapes-contemporary-attitudes-to-rape-and-sexual-assault-76900
  24. https://www.nytimes.com/2015/08/14/world/middleeast/isis-enshrines-a-theology-of-rape.html Is the Quran not a religious book, or have you just not read it?
  25. Presumably they decided he was part of the ceremonial guard?
