  1. Also, it's worth noting that once your current contract has reach the end of its 'fixed term' it will roll over to a monthly 'rolling' contract anyway, so you can stay where you are - assuming you continue to pay the rent - and avoid the need to move somewhere else.
  2. You seem to be forgetting the Trust's catchphrase "the bid is fully funded and READY TO GO". I therefore assume that by the 12th of April the trust will own the club as all the rubber stamping will have been concluded. There is nothing else that can possibly hold them up after the court case is flung out of court and the big rusty key to nottarf is handed over.
  3. Any news this week on Micah Hall's impending court case? I'm guessing that the 'warchest' is now stuffed so full of Wonga that the lid won't shut, but any update on the actual total on the totaliser?
  4. Perhaps it says more about the Portsmyth fans. Only 1200 views and the 3rd highest source is Saints fans. Says to me that the ordinary Pompey fan couldn't care less who the owner is, just as long as they can buy success. Is that because he's a Villa fan
  5. Anyone know the date of Micah Hall's appearance in court? Looking forward to the lols in that one! Come to think of it, how much has been raised for the plucky warchest since the initial £2k over the first weekend? I wonder if it will buy the services of a top legal eagle or a tramp with a new tie
  6. It's hard to say really! Fag packet maths : Ground = £3m[lol], funded by HNW & PCC - circa 50% each? Chinny = £2m? - funded by PPs King Kanu = £3m - funded by PPs Other players = £8m - funded by PPs CVA = £0.5m - funded by fans? Oh, and PCC will be repaid by PPs. So, I guess the overwhelming majority of the club / debts will be paid by the Parachute Payements which will technically make the Premium League the overwhelming majority owner???
  7. Err, no, not the only reason I suspect that the fact that they have been bankrupt since November 2009 would also mean that they haven't been able to afford to sack their managers - I suspect there has been one or two they would like to have fired....
  8. You seem to be forgetting that should they be removed from the FL, then there would be a 'space' created within the league system. A fair few teams would benefit from an unexpected promotion to fill the gaps whilst the skates slot in nicely to the Wessex league
  9. I wonder what the odds are that Portpin's legal team will all be struck down with some hideous flu virus over Easter and so will have to ask for an adjournment?
  10. What star rating did you get from your local Food Hygiene inspector? I am of course assuming you are aware that you MUST have a health and safety / food hygiene inspection before you can sell your food items to the public - particular focus will be on HACCP and how you have ensured you food is kept 'safe' from purchase to sale.
  11. Alternatively, you might want to suggest that you are only prepared to pay the difference between the cost of the original [non] fix and the cost of replacing the loom. I would suggest that is a very reasonable compromise as it's clear that they did feck all for the original fix!
  12. Also the £2m? that Kanu is claiming which seems to have been conveniently forgotten, but I doubt has gone away.
  13. Yeah, but that was done on the 'published' business plan. Since then the business plan has been revised four[?] times, once for every re-arranged court visit No-one has been privvy to the details of these revised business plans, so we can only assume that Colin, who hasn't actually seen them either, is right in that absolutely everything has been budgeted for, twice.
  14. Looks like knobhead steve sold his flat to the wrong buyer! Apparently the football club has a buyer that will pay more for it than the trust will. Get over it knobhead steve!
  15. As I mentioned yesterday, the FL comeback to this statement will be quite clear "we are only considering the PREFERRED bidder as put forward by the administrator PKF". If / when PKF change who their preferred bidder is, the FL will consider the bid. Until then it's trust or bust business as usual
  16. I think you also have to factor in their repeated use of the phrase "preferred bidder" - i.e. until PKF approach the FL with a new 'preferred bidder' that isn't the trust, then they really can't be arsed to 'consider' any other bids. Basically they keep batting the ball straight back into PKFs court each and every time PKF come up with some FL related statement. Luckily the phew are too stupid to realise what they are doing and so lap it all up. For the record Corpse, personally I would love to see your club wiped off the face of the planet. Since this doesn't seem to be happening in the near future, then I, like many, many other Saints fans are more than happy to see the trust take over with their open and transparent communication and literally no sign of infighting at all
  17. He does, but the adjournment and subsequent blaming anyone other than the trust would need to be made today
  18. I thought he was knobhead neil
  19. Look at Europcar. I believe they do a 7.5tonne Luton tail lift, which if you passed your driving test early enough you will be able to drive on your licence. Maybe also look at some of the local Southampton based firms - although obviously you'd have to return to Soton - as they may well still have some Luton's lying around.
  20. It's also showing the possession stats : Pompey 20% Away team 60%
  21. The cynic in me would suggest the 21st of Feb - 7 days from tomorrow
  22. That's not banter, that's pompey banter. pompey banter is much betterer and bester than any other kind of banter.
  23. I'm confused Is it still 'trust or bust' or are the trust now the villains standing in the way of Saviour Keith? If the trust are still plucky heroes, when do they become nasty villains? Also, what happens when the trust bid goes bust and Keith takes over. The mugs who paid over their £1000 will surely want this back, but the HNWs will want to take back what they've donated[sic] from the money the trust have collected. Who will be the hero when this happens and who will be the villain? We need knobhead neil to clarify who is the bestest this week and who is the worstest
  24. No, definitely not! You will not get a job in the UK until you move back to the UK if you went this route! Think about it, you apply for a job, the application is successful, you get offered a phone interview - slight problem being 11 or so hours ahead, but still just about do-able. You pass the phone interview and get offered a face to face interview. Do you fly back at short notice - a couple of days or a week's notice at best - shelling out for the flight in the hope that you might get offered the job? No chance you're gonna risk it. This is why no agency will even bother to call you in the first place, because they can in no way guarantee to 'deliver' you to the client! My advice, keep doing the temp jobs, as it is, believe it or not, a lot easier to get a job while you're in a job! They may not be what you want to do, but like you say, they're good experience, they'll be paying you some money and you'll be meeting people who may or may not know of someone else hiring. Try contacting some of the bigger companies to see if they offer an internship - near you, you have Friend's Life in Salisbury, Unum in Dorking and a whole bunch of FS companies in London! The finance market is pretty dire at the moment with the likes of Skandia in Southampton shedding staff hand over fist, however the word 'on the street' is that they have all pretty much 'over culled' in recent months, so will be looking to replace with new blood in the not so distant future, so the future could be profitable for you
  25. Lol. Looks like a home game from the emptiness of the stands
