  1. No debt on the stadium because ML PAID FOR IT in FULL!!! - we went into admin with lots of debts, ML paid ALL OF THEM IN FULL! and we came out of admin with no debts. I think that sums up the difference between the type of person ML is compared to the many potless, penniless chancers that have run Pompey for the last 10 years.... If in the unlikely event that it does all go pear shaped in the next decade for us, then I will not blame you for coming back and gloating that you told us so, however, bearing in mind MLs business philosophy to date, I'm confident you won't get the chance....
  2. I got one.... We bought our son a half season ticket last year, so we would therefore be bang up to date on the database. I received an email - on our son's behalf - stating how to get a renewal, and what the cost were for every type of ticket. Sadly I received this after we had renewed his ticket, so deleted it
  3. So, you didn't think there was anything to discuss during your administration and subsequent implosion? Also, have you borrowed AA's calculator? The difference between 32,000 and 20,000 is 12,000. At around £20 per game that is £240,000 Times that by 23 games in a season and you get £5,520,000 which is quite a long way from your £500k. You're not an accountant at PFC by any chance are you?
  4. Perhaps you miss understood the title of the thread 'Pompey Takeover Saga'.... So, one year on, and instead of getting a takeover that will make you the richest club in the world - check out some of Corpy's earlier posts! - you've managed to spunk all the money you've earnt / been given / laundered, and managed to almost double a £70m debt in the space of three months! If that's your idea of successful business management, then may I suggest you start your own business to give us some more belly laughs
  5. I assume you can point to the relevant pages of the Labour manifesto, where they stated categorically that they would make these things happen?
  6. He won't find anything. In fact quite the contrary, no doubt he will be commending the previous owners on their exemplary management. Fortunately, HMRC played another master stroke insisting that the company be liquidated as part of the CVA, as when this announcement is made by AA they will be legally entitled to pick the bones Sadly, nick, you appear to only have an eye for the short term, whereas HMRC have always been in the game for the long run to get their pound of flesh. Every month or so they seem to produce another ace out of the pack and give AA a few more inches of rope for his noose.
  7. Oh well, nothing to see there then....
  8. I thought he was in charge of the administration?
  9. Just when we thought it wasn't possible for DP to get any more boring, he brings us this gem zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
  10. It's awful. Very slow - especially scrolling and typing. Perhaps a poll is in order to gauge the 'users' opinion??
  11. Do you think they'll still be doing the calendar for next year?
  12. Lol at The News managing to get the four letters of HMRC all muddled up I like the way AA says it 'has' to happen for a number of reasons, almost the last desperate plea to the local creditors to vote for the CVA even though he knows he stands no chance!
  13. I assume that's a rhetorical question..... So, number 2 it is then
  14. And miss out on two booking fees / postage / handling charges? No chance
  15. Moles not mice!! I reckon one of these would be more use....
  16. I think you seem to be getting this 'perk of the job' mixed up with an absolute divine right to travel to work as cheaply as possible. Surely a 'perk' is just that and should not be used / relied upon for daily travel. Is it also true that a 'perk' can be removed as and when the needs of the business dictate?
  17. Are you suggesting it would be very good management if this practice were to cease? I would imagine that you would therefore be right behind little Willie and what he is trying to do to ensure the paying customer gets the BEST experience possible
  18. Well, technically you didn't, as the Premier league has no such cutoff date However I suspect you're due for another large dose, but this time it won't be medicine
  19. Irrelevant really. Go back and see how much we were paying the 'kids' in our relegation season, and we still went into admin for spending more than we earnt....
  20. Pancake, check your flickr messages
  21. Has anybody suggested contacting Willie Walsh yet?
  22. I believe they are also acting on behalf of HMRC. Yep, that would be the same HMRC who have retained the right - from their last court appearance - to object against the current administrator and put one in of their own
  23. Which is completely different from the ACTUAL world that we live in, where the average man on the street is on minimum wage and senior management are rolling in....uh, no I see your point.....
  24. You appear to be underestimating the guile and cunning of the bestest fans in the whole world ever ™
