However, with all these 'secure creditors' coming out of the woodwork and proving their validity in the high court, it leaves less and less unsecured creditors to vote on a CVA, which means HMRC's percentage gets bigger and bigger - that's without adding on the increases from more missed payments No CVA = lots more points deducted next season in the Championship The hits just keep on coming

You seem to have conveniently forgotten the SoA that was submitted to the court and is a legal document. I'm sure if the administrator were to increase the debt from that published in the SoA then HMRC and other bodies would be interested...

And to be fair, having met an awful lot of sparkies in my line of work, I would wager that Pancake is a) more intelligent than nearly all of them and b) far more likely to pay attention to the connection of the wires, given that this is his first time doing it, rather than a non interested sparky charging over the odds. Nope. The £84m is TOTAL debt - we know Chainrai [if the admin is confirmed] has probably in the region of £30m of this and is a secured creditor. I guess Gady is a secured creditor[?] and is owed another £30m, which leaves £24m of unsecured debt, of which HMRC is owed £18m, which is a hell of a lot more than 25%!! Since the CVA needs ratification from the unsecured creditors, and HMRC aren't going to ratify, you needn't worry, as they will indeed be toast

Let's say you're very rich and you've got £70m burning a whole in your pocket, do you : a) Buy Pompey and end up with [at best] a Championship club with a large points deduction. or b) Buy Rangers for £30m and spend another £20m on cars and houses, hookers and wine, and have a team that will regularly win things, have no debt, and probably turn a profit once debt free owing to the fact that they have a large stadium and ready made facilities. Oh, and you've still got £20m in your pocket to buy a boat with So, basically, they're toast

I would much, much rather be going to Wembley in the Semi final of the FA cup. Sadly, we lost to a team that out played us in the last quarter with their team of players they can't afford. Luckily, we're in the final of the JPT, so I'll be going to watch it, who knows I might even buy myself a mickey mouse watch to celebrate. You can feel free to sit at home being all grumpy and bitter because it isn't a 'real' trophy if you like. Luckily, Pompey will be wound up before the semi final of the FA cup anyway, so I don't really feel your need to be jealous of them
