How about try going back to how it was? There never seemed to be an issue with voluntary donations - never had access to the figures so can't be entirely sure either way - and the forum still used to give up the ghost as much as it does now.... Pretty sure the level of donations would be the same - maybe even increase - if we went back to the golden balls days.

Phew, at least you're different to all the other whining skates, and don't think it's all someone else's fault

It used to run on a voluntary donation scheme to keep the running costs topped up. Those were the days when the site was really busy, and interesting too. Having the voluntary donation turned into a compulsory donation pi ssed a lot of people off - even some of those that had voluntarily donated! Personally I don't feel there was anything wrong with that system, and it shouldn't have been changed, unless the voluntary donations dried up. But, it was, and I guess to 'save face' there's no going back. Once you've made your bed I guess you have to lie in it.

That would be £16m of parachute payments in reserve - years 3 and 4 - yet you will need circa £12m to finance the shortfall needed to cover the wages to get you to year 3, so I dare say those parachute payments will be borrowed against, as hinted at by chinny boy. Not to mention the £1m per annum needed to pay the rent to chinny for graciously allowing you to use your own stadium[sic]. Then there's the interest on the loans that your new 'owner' has already lent you, remind me, how much is that again? Some of your fans - hell even Corpse was right on this one! - wanted chinny boy to be gone, along with the rest of the cowboys you've drawn to your club over the years. You on the other hand appear to be celebrating as though you've won the lottery. Quite bizarre really.

Hey well, £7m per annum is an acceptable loss - in Skate terms - so I imagine that will increase by about 50% in January

£2.5million would be nice, that was the figure bandied around about Gaydamak, and that would have liquidated them....

Spooky

Hasn't he signed yet? The radio, and SSN this afternoon were adamant that all would be signed by 18:30 tonight, so I must have missed the big announcement. It's the hope that kills

You seem to be forgetting that the wages need to be paid right up until the end of August, even if they did get promoted. That is gonna cost a whole bunch of beans as ALL their other income is accounted for, even with the 13,000 faithful turning up every couple of months!
-
Sadly, they haven't cheated - yet! - well, not since they went in to admin anyway. Yes, they've signed a few players, and got a few loans in, BUT, that isn't against the rules - however shady it might be to send out some youngsters on loan and get some prem players in! However, the big question is, can they afford the wages? If AAs bleating is to be believed from last weekend, then no they can't. That could all have been more bluffing from him to try and get the FL to approve their new[sic] owner, but it failed once again. I don't see them being able to afford the wages all the way through the year, not unless Chinny boy puts in some serious cash, and happily, he won't be doing that whilst the FL refuse him to get his grubby hands onto his train set. A long way left to go with this one, but I can only see it ending one way - despite what the Corpse says, but then we all know how much he's got right in the last three years

What is it they say about counting chickens? Aren't there 3 court cases on the horizon, all with the potential to yield some points deductions if they go against the defendants

So, you're comparing the re-pressurising of a boiler - which is essentially about as time consuming and difficult as turning on a tap! - with a week's worth of labour and materials for a qualified carpenter, and you expect everyone to agree with your argument! Besides, as has already been pointed out, the OP DID offer recompense for the job. A job which you pointed out he is obliged to get fixed, hence the point of the thread in the first place  I think you should have spent a life in politics with your ability to twist an argument to suit your agenda!

I was with BT and being charged £23.99 per month for BB. £12 per month for phone. I contacted Orange, and they now charge me for £7 for exactly the same BB package - BT graciously said they would reduce it to £19.99!! - so now I pay £19 instead of £35.99 a month. I don't use the phone line though as have one through work, so saving a fortune a year. Orange has been very reliable for the month I've had it, and haven't had to contact their customer services. Sky does seem to be a good offer, but need to check if you can get it at your address - I couldn't, even though they sent all the info....

Not to mention the seven other ships/submarines that are needed to create the task force for EACH aircraft carrier, to allow them to get where they need to be without being sunk! Who's gonna pay for them, and the personnel that are needed to man them? These aircraft carriers could be the most expensive, shiny models in the history of the British navy

Hehe, I like this one from the 'janitor' No apologies for the shouting, I guess it must be noisy in the broom cupboard So, any ideas why janitor 'can't believe' that the administrator is at fault? He is the one that has been in charge of the finances since February, put together the CVA - which they haven't even had to bother looking at paying yet! - and also the one who sanctioned all the transfers in and out! There's only one person at that club who holds the purse strings, and the blame must rest fairly and squarely with the Android
-
Trouble is, there's no-one left to do it

Lol. Was Lampitt shouting from the rooftops that they have supplied everything to the FL and it should all be rubber stamped today. Then they issue a statement on their website, saying the FL want FOUR more things to be complied with. Now, we know how they like to lie and cheat, so can we assume those four things are really eight things I wonder what they are? 1. Have you got any money? 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. Feel free to fill in the blanks....

Lol. I passed the Pompey academy minibus heading South from London this evening. There was only 5 people on it, one was driving, one was presumably the coach - look a bit old for an academy player, even for Pompey's rule breaking - which left three actual academy players! Maybe they've been competing in a tiddlywinks competition
-
I guess if they'd managed to get taken over, then the take over thread would be closed They've only themselves to blame.
-
A good win at the bingo though, and Mrs H might let him get his leg over, especially if it's enough to cover the cost of dinner.
-
To be fair, every single article written about them and their administration[sic] has always included the line 'lift the club's trnsfer embargo'. It seems to be the one and only thing they want in the entire world, so they can continue to make unrealistic transfers, increase the salaries yet again, and continue making the mistakes of the last five years. What is it they say about leopards and spots?

So it's true. You really do reap what you sow

Corpse proves what a retard he is once again. We don't inflate anything. All we do is quote the figures put out from the Android. That figure seems as fluid as a pint of stella, and changes everytime he needs it to massage the figures required for that week. I guess all this speculation about what Pompey's real true debt is would disappear if only you could manage to publish some accounts.....
