Broja wasn’t very good yesterday I agree, but most people can see what he can do on his day. Armstrong however hasn’t shown anything yet and I’m not talking about the last two games. Hopefully he will come good but I just can’t see it.

I think both your post and the video is stating the obvious. Most fans could see Puel was taking us in a downward spiral and likewise most Newcastle fans new they were lucky that season: Many fans felt the same about Saints when we were doing well under Pochetinno and Koeman . We needed to kick on and add to the team, but we didn’t and never will. Example would be Leicester, each year Vardy will become less effective and each year Leicester will decline unless they start changing things now. You don’t need to be a data analyst to see that. But the good news is that this guy does see it, where as some clubs don’t .

Spot on. There are signs that he’s coming around to the idea that he needs to be flexible in his tactics . Hopefully this will continue but there’s still a long way to go. Still think he needs to use Tella more over Walcott and Long.

Don’t get me wrong, he did alright, but we need a bit more at this level. With Broja not 100% , I thought it was an unfair comment by Andy Durman.

Long only threatened once and missed a simple free header. Broja showed Shane why he doesn’t get game time by being far more of a threat. Long looked like he was glued to the floor, he doesn’t jump for headers and has lost his pace. We don’t need another player that runs around a lot, we have that with A Armstrong.
