Just finished work. Just seen the team sheet. Enthusiasm fading. VAR will save us, right?
-
100% the villa game. Any other ref and we win that 3-1. Minimum. We picked up a couple bad injuries as well, which seemed to cement the dark cloud that followed. I'm looking forward to some random youtuber doing a video of all the VAR cock ups in the close season, we should be top billing on that.

I'm not upset. I just don't want this aggressive political movement anywhere near a sport that I enjoy. Bin it off and just send out a leaflet instead, that sounds like a fair compromise.

Of all the high profile cases we've seen plastered all over the BBC news over the last 12 months, that has led to BLM marches, well they all have one thing in common. The police were responding to either criminal activity or serving a warrant. Further more, all resisted arrest or worse, tried to escape by any means possible. Hell, one shot through a door hitting a police officer and then used his girlfriend as a human shield. And these are the people held up as hero's, some get three funerals and angel wings painted on tributes! People have marched in their honour, looting, burning & killing (28 recorded deaths attached so far). And we are all supposed to just go along with this movement? No thank you. BLM feels like a liberal movement to me. No doubt some very rich white guy is making a lot of money from it. But as a movement, I prefer Greenpeace interrupting my travel plans if I'm honest. Get it away from sport now!

They made that fit. Like they made last night.....................unclear.

Abolish the police & prisons. Promote fatherless families. Anti capitalism. Reparations. No forgiveness, equity not equality. You are more likely to be killed by the police if you are white in the USA (fact check true). George Floyd was a career criminal. He didn't deserve to die on the floor, but get a grip, he wasn't the hero that he is portrayed to be. Everything we have seen over the last year screams of some sort of agenda. ML King said that the most dangerous racism would be that of the quiet white liberal. I'd say he was on to something.......

People look to football as a means of escape, they want to switch off from their home life worries, work stresses & politics. It would be far better for the governing body to end this with close season, rather than have the Fans (paying customers) end it next season. And that will be the outcome. People are tired of this being forced down their throats. Enough already.

It needs to be nailed on for us to get anything from this ref.
-
Tremendous start. Very impressive. Never type this so early. Asking for trouble.
-
BLM has been healing the racial divide with grenades over the past year and a half, and I'm pretty tired of it. No room for politics in Football.......Kick it out.
-
Remember when they played highlights of the 9 goals......that's the real Leicester. Classless. I seriously prefer the hammers.....and that's saying something!
-
Only team to score five first half, and five second half goals in the same season. (sunderland/villa)

I've really enjoyed the last few games. We were very much in danger of limping over the line, with bucket loads of fan discontent. But we have been shown a glimmer once again. There's a lot of work to be done this summer, and our recruitment needs to be spot on. But I'm personally really pleased that Ralph has started to get a tune from the lads in the run in. No doubt there's better managers out there, but I wouldn't trust us to find one if he left. Lets nab six points from the last two, steal 12th, and send off some of the lads to the euro's in good form and fitness. One week left, lets enjoy it.

Nearly time for the red mist to descend for Zaha. The vein is already bulging.

My top 3 bad one's..... Cash handball easily the worst decision. And the way they doubled down cemented that. Vesti's red card v's Leicester. Utter bullshit, plain to see, and he didn't even go to the monitor. Berty's handball a close third. Made worse by the fact Wolves had a bigger handball that they let fly. And the let offs...... Ghost penalty against Brighton. Clearly outside the box. I celebrated that, and felt dirty in doing so. And although we've had a few more, half a season of var beating me down has made them slip away into obscurity. So that's all I've got. VAR is shit, 80% of the officials are incompetent, and Mike Dean is a prick. #bekind

Good tackle Jack. Worth a goal that.
-
Cancelo that last comment. 1-1 now. Contract withdrawn.
-
Newcastle are annoying the hell out of City. 1-0 up and Shelvy just hit the cross-bar. Steve 'meat head' Bruce is a football genius. Needs a six year deal up there.
-
Got the ball but dangerously out of control. VAR........ah whatever. Ok carry on. Laughable.
-
The pressure was off, as a spectator. I was ready for a kick in the nuts, but after a early brain fart and a weak arse penalty, I must say, I really enjoyed that performance. Very cohesive, well organised. We were good in the Liverpool game as well. We moved the ball well, showed great energy & desire, but we missed an ingredient. One Danny Ings. I'm more worried about him going today, than at any other stage. He takes Che up a couple levels. I'd prefer him to wind the contract down and leave for nothing than take anything south of £25M. Seriously. What ever happens now, with a couple more goals Danny will leap frog Marion Pahars into third place all time EPL scorers for us, and he has earned that. Lets hope he's here to hunt down Beattie.

To have served out seven seasons here is a commendable achievement, and a rarity. I wish him well in future endevours. But, very happy with our clubs decision. A two or three year deal would have had yet another player stopping us from our previous recruitment policy. Brave & responsible. Recruit well to complete the process.

Well, one good ting from tonight. We don't get to hear the the losing points from winning position stat. phew
-
We lost the first two fixtures. I'm really proud of the fact we managed to top the Premier League table for the first ever time this season. It is a big deal. We've also been on the shittest EVER run this season, we don't need to ignore both stats.
-
Now the bottom three are sorted, lets start jumping some teams. Minimum of six points from our last four games.
-
His effort and work rate have been commendable. He filled a important position with the loan move. But we simply cannot afford to add anymore mistakes. I wish him luck where ever he ends up. No time for sentiment.
