  1. "I think for us, for the players, for the staff, the fans and for everyone in the club, maybe, this is the most important game of the year." Ralph taking it very seriously 😇 ____________________________________ I think he was talking about Fulham V's Leeds tonight. 😄
  2. He'd have to murder a few nippers before he stopped being my favorite ever footballer. Even then, there's still loads of kids in the world so...........
  3. We understand. We have all witnessed the decline. We also understand the ownership issues. No one wants relegation. But just clapping along isn't going to save us. Something needs to change. Its never felt more out of our control. When we are in the stands, there's less places for the owner/manager/players to hide. Right now we are just witnessing a slow motion car crash. And when we limp over the line, we'll wait for the summer transfer window and start the pattern all over again. Goa is going to get what he's paid for. You can't keep getting lucky. And boy have we used up some luck already. Not trying to be pessimistic, just a bit realistic.
  4. A major cup win could be a once in a generation thing, something very special for our fans. Limping over the line, making up the numbers, VAR, loyalty, greed, just about had my fill of the best league in the world. And without the right ownership, our final destination, well its just an inevitability. Would love to snag the cup on the way, but I'm sure the football gods are already contemplating an amusing way to dash our dreams. But, while the hopes alive, let it kill you.
  5. I'd take relegation if it meant we won the FA cup. But more likely we'd get a final and relegation. Not as grand, just ask Boro.
  6. Not strictly true because we have also beaten Shrewsbury, Arsenal and Wolves in that time as well ------------------------ Indeed. But in unusual circumstances we played both teams after defeating their weakened teams in the cup.......and lost. So perhaps highlights the state of the cup rather than our skewed bad form.
  7. I'd love to sell him and get £2M, does that count?
  8. Its a big shame that this awful patch we have entered (2021) has coincided with the academy being at its very thinnest. The problems we have suffered with injuries have really shown us in great detail all the youngsters coming through, and its not good enough, sadly. If ever there was a club that needed a complete overhaul its us.
  9. How very fitting, that Mark Hughes got to sit there and watch that car crash today. That was as bad as anything he served up. How embarrassing.
  10. As someone who thought rewarding Shane Long an extension due to his incredible hard work, I can catergorically say, no, no new contract for RB.
  11. Looks like Fulham get Cities B team tonight. That line up is not as good as what we faced. Sneaky 1-0 home win incoming.........
  12. When Everton beat us, they looked dreadful. The difference tonight is Burnley has made them pay the price. Mid-table beckons. Might have a look on GoT later, that will be funny.
  13. Beat Brighton, and we will have a lovely stroll to the end of the season. But, in all reality we are in a lovely position right now. Burnley, WBA & Palace the next three. We have no excuses for failure. We should be able to jump a few teams in the next four games. But one game at a time, lets keep the seagulls flapping about next to the danger line for another week. uts
  14. I don't think we got away with it. I think we just been gifted the one mistake we didn't need. I have never seen so much media coverage of a var mistake. I thought it was over the top last night, starting at the HT interlude, but now we are the flag ship of var's beneficial decisions today. Peps statement was damning, considering they won at a canter. Someone else piped up that we seem to complain a lot about decisions recently, but also get the lions share. A dozen games with seemingly nothing going for us, and now we get this one stapled to our bloody forehead. Unbelievable. I thought Moss had a pretty decent game, but today has made me feel the conspiracy is amplified. Can see us getting shafted on Sunday, just to add fuel to this madness. Tin hat at the ready.
  15. Robbie Fowler used to love playing us. Think we used to send him invitations or something.
  16. Really encouraging start, till they scored. But glad to come through that without any issues for the Brighton game. Moussa wouldn't have started anyway. Glad to see we can shift 3 or four from the starting line up. I reckon we are going to be well fired up. City are just different class, no shame in losing to them.
  17. Well done Ralph. Leaving KWP out is not only brave, but selfless. I applaud you. UTS
  18. League One is looking ever so tight, both top and bottom. Pompey just gone a goal down to Sunderland. Its going to be a squeaky end to the season.
  19. We need to ease KWP back in. We all know that he has become the most integral part of how we set up. We can't rush him back from injury and start grinding him straight away. Give him a week, lets keep him fit for the remaining games. I'm all for heavy rotation in this one.
  20. That Leeds goal looked onside to me. Mike Dean better stay off twitter later! 😆
  21. He was superb last month in their 2-0 win over Everton. He looked injured at the end and was still running around protecting the lead. Amazing energy levels, outstanding commitment, massive contribution. The boy must have a mental issue to have so much in his locker, and deliver so little so often.
  22. Crumbs, Utd have had this in total control. And Lukes goal was class. Didn't expect this today. At least we don't have to be the first to break them.
  23. God their bench is fantastic. No point in even wanting someone to be suspended for our game.
  24. Good to see Fraser getting some praise. He's definitely a confidence player, so that could bode really well going forward. I really enjoyed having KWP back in the side yesterday, he makes such a big difference for us. I lost count of how many times he dribbled out from the back in the first half, and that's so refreshing to see,. He looked shattered after the hour mark, which was to be expected. If we can keep him fit, then we may well have a enjoyable low scoring not conceding too many end to the season.
  25. Tinge of excitement for today. Not had that for a while. Hope the line up is as good as I think it will be.
