Thankfully that effort tricked through to Baz.

Our players are very well drilled in Baz support, running in from all areas to provide him with passing outlets. Right to the end of the game. Good stuff.

Charles' second header of the day not torubling their keeper. Getting into good positions for them, but the end prodict not there. It's been good to see him being able to pass from a bit further forward today, with Downes and AA doing a shed load of work elsewhere.

Adams off for Mara. A good mix of the good things Adams does and some of the poorer ones. With some finishing, it would have beena mich better outcome for him today. But an important part of our attack, nontheless.

For not being pacey, Aribo did very well putting off their player who could have got away. He's doen well again today. And points to Martin to take of Alcaraz who had tired for someone who makes a noticable difference. AA blazes it over! Adamsagian in a position to get the ball form centre over to AA.

For all of the attention on Admas finishing, Frase has had plenty of efforts on goal. That one blocked. Martin will be really pleased at how many we've created today, less so on how many have hit the back of the net.

Aribo holds off their player well, and gets it wide to Fraser, who has a quick look on the run, passign it centtrally in to Adams who has taken a good position for a tap in... and it goes wide...

Good form Aribo again. quick decision to put Fraser through. Moments before, Adams availalbe for a ball over the top. Once day all those final third passes will reach him, and we'll get to see how many, if any, he manages to put away.

AA racing back at nearly 70 minutes of top work rate. A minute later, it's an AA ball across to a stretching Fraser. We're waiting to punce on them stepping up. Earlier, Aribo got back to make a good touch centrtally to disrupt them getting control of the ball. He had just tracked well to support Fraser on the left flank. Definitely more mbile looking today and in the last game.

Adams pluses #strawclutching AA looked to put a ball across there, and we had someone in there, rather than him having to wait for support. Adams droipped deep to pass. Unlike quite a few I see on other teams, he immediately got into a position, wanting it back. Not just executing the pass and then moving away with a "job done" approach. Aribo defintiely looking a bit fitter. Decent effort from him.

Looks like everyone's first reaction to the subs was "That's a bit early for Aribo" 🙂

Well wide from Adams. But good to see shots coming in form both him, and from those areas. Keeps them worried, and us more in control.

Not for the first time this half, or the hundreth this season, we've set ourselves up for passing to the extent it's hard for players to be on the end of the final ball. Stu there, waiting for the runner... waiting... comes to nothing. It's a tough one to solve for us. Curly one from them. Baz had it covered despite the "panic" the commentator mentioned.

Stu nearly dribble right through there. SOmething he's very good at , and led to a goial in the first half. Good to see him being much more a starter.

Lovely finish from Adams. shame it was offside. Mostly Cardiff really, without torubling us. Last few minutes we've taken a bit more controil, looking for those through ball to release the likes of AA, if and when Cardiff push up.

A really good half form us. We dominated right form the start. Our passing moves began further up, putting pressure on Cardiff. We looked very comfortable on the ball, and both were really well worked goals. Excellent performances right across the team. We have our usual vulnerabilities of space left at the full back position (with Manning that's a little more so) and being caught a little too far up, wehn a direct counter ball is played through. Baz and THB did well to prevent one opportunity, and their runner at the back post couldn;t get his effort on target. As a result,Baz hasnp;t been overly troubled this half, but has still shone in his passing and quick thinking. It will be interesting if Martin solidifies the middle more, droipping back a little to prevent the counter, or if he gets us back out at the temp we started the match at, pushing for more goals.

Oh, that was a chance for them. They remembered all that space we leave in our full back positions. A runner in at the back post, got free. That and the possible chip following Baz's brave clearance have been opportunities for them. So, some direct play that's the most uncomfortable for us. Nearly half time when Martin will be able to give one of his inspirational team talks...uh oh.. 🙂
