  1. "...but at the end of the day it’s about how much we want it," said Simeu, reminding me of some recent posts. πŸ™‚ Good to see him embrace the opportunity and that he's learning while getting lots of first team minutes. Lets hope he pushes on for us when he returns.
  2. I'm sure there will be twists and turns. But hopefully, both ourselves and Oxford can beat Ipswich to give us as much of a chance as possible. Tense stuff.
  3. They wouldn't be the first set of football fans with great expectations. 😊
  4. That reads as though there were some attitude issues. Do we know that's the case and that it wasn't just a move to give him regular first team football?
  5. That's no giraffe. That's Peter Crouch.
  6. I made sure to pick up the Blue Rank Xerox replica when they were around, as it's also my favourite away kit.
  7. I really like that one.
  8. One of my favourite kits.
  9. Perhaps a variation on the limited edition rainbow kit then?
  10. He'd still somehow have managed to bring in some Italian defenders and a Brazilian striker, despite it being international football. 😊
  11. The respectful rustling of 30000 brown envelopes.
  12. Really pleased for him. He's come back from a lot to earn it.
  13. Not being flush with cash to be considered when we are looking for upgrades to keeper, central defender, a broja replacement and a number 10 across various threads. And a Romeu back up would be nice too. 😊
  14. Yeah, we could see bids for Salisu, KWP, JWP, Tino, Bednerek or even Stu. If it's any of all of those, it's not guaranteed that the club will look to reinvest in that postion. If KWP goes, they may feel that Tino/Peraud/Small is enough. Or if it's Bednerek, that Salisu, Lyanco, Stephens and Valery are sufficient. They may choose to strengthen in goals or up front with Broja replacement with any funds they get. Any others could be up and coming talent (actually the Forster/ Broja replacements could also be that) Lots of possibilities.
  15. July 4, 2022 - Saints make Font Swap. Southampton FC are proud to annouce that their website will now be in times new roman font. Elsewhere, still no news about a new goalkeeper, after the departures of Forster, McCarthy, Cabellero, Lewis and Kelvin Davis refusing to go back onto the playing squad.
  16. Surprised. I htought the news was going to be that he'd signed a pre contract with one of the top 6 clubs. πŸ™‚
