Jealous... yeah, I'm jealous... of clubs like Bayer Levekusen, who get to a champions league final on a 20k gate because they are lucky enough to hold on to player sther have developed for more years than we can in England... Jealous of your cup win? Maybe a little, afterall when we got there we faced a top Arsenal side so loosing 1-0, was not bad, and a trophy is a trophy... but then I look at what it cost you, and what you have become, bitter twisted and ignorant of the real cost of that fleeting success and no I am not jealous, and unlike the mad feckers at Leeds and other clubs, I would NOT swap a tropht for the madness of spending that you did... to suggest that, simply highlights your ignorance and defensiveness...you know its tainted, but you just wont admit it... yes you were solvent then, yes you could afford it then...just, but you had entered into contracts that unless you became champions league you could not afford, because although Gaydamrk was loaning you the cash, there would come a time when he stopped increasing his loands anyway,,, a time BEFORE those contracts were up... not exactly prudent planning. Whta is worse though is that from todays Creditor meeting something than many may have missed, it was afterall a very small comment hidden amongst the ;more impottant stuff; was acomment from Chinneys team - that the club NEEDED additional investment, after it exited admin the last time - and that CSI had provided this 17mil facilty - 17 mil because it could NOT cover its costs and liabilties AFTER it exited admin without it - so with debts of 120 mil + reduced to 16mil throughs some questionable contract, the club then carried on paying the same wages to an extent of -17 mil a year... coventry, Donacaster Forest, even us after we were rightly spanked for our 4 mil overdraft, sold everytiung we could, played cheap players... your club of which you are so proud did not... it carried on as if nothing was wrong - even basic ethics says that if you had 17mil to blow, give to teh feckin creditors to get them off the liabilty list, ship out teh high earners and struggle yes but with a clearer conscience, knowing you have not fecked the competition? This thread is about many things, yes we are now laughing, schardenfreude can be a wonderful thing, but many on here were for some time sympathetic to the fans plight.. that has been eroded to teh point where we are glad toi see you dissappear up your collective arseholes because of the constant refusal to see anything wrong in what has happened and plead ''its so unfair'' - charities and businesses get feck all, but hey we had quality.... NOw its about teh rules or lack of them that let clubs do this without suitable sanction... if you cant see that a club having done what portsmouth has done does not deserve a more severe sanction, then you are quite literally as thick as shiet... open your eyes PFC.

The only thing about this though is that had Markus bought a debt free club, at the top of the championship about to be promoted for 33mil, then w woudl probably say its a good deal... the only difference is he paid 13 mil or so and spent an extra 17 over 3 year to get us to that position. Would we have been able to be as competitive as we are without what is in effct around 15 mil spent subsidising wages and bringing in players... well you could argue that when the 12 mil from the Oxo sale is factored in, we have only spent approx 3 mil over revenue on payers and salaries over 3 years.... not a geat deal considering how far we have come and how much more many of the others have spent. -

I would not worry - if you are are teh data base and they have up to date address you will still get all teh marketing guff they are going to send out - only new thing tehy wanted to capture was DOB - guess they will be sending out specific age related mareting material - that will be all. -
well. well ,well who would have believed it. Chinney will ride back in bareback with his arms entwinned in the love that dare not speak its name with his 'beeatch' AA squeeling like a pig... grins on their faces as they hold on the an assett of ever decreasing value, but with chinney not being the only one getting a good stuffing... the small creditors wil get feck all, we know that, or maybe its thje small creditor this time round who will get something a long wait) or is it the old ones... who knows but it looks like the following will probably happen: 1. Chinney will take back the club on the 'promise' he will pay back all small creditors and 20p in the pound against a new CVA - thus wiping off the debt and bringing it down to 10mil or so - this will be staged to begin to be repaid in 2018 2. as last time the club still need snew investers to remain a going concern since the large contracts entered into - will we see Chinney lend tehm some more whilst he still can? 3. They will continue to pay their huge wages in L1 and as they build up the debt ...again, in a risk strategy to get them back up to the NPC , whilst delaying any creditor payment unti 2018 4. With the parachute cash to come they will be able to afford it and thus gain promotion to the NPC because by not paying the creditors, they get the Parachute payments so that Chinney can sell the club to another dodgy mate... Seriously - the slimey feckers will shaft football again and the FL will stand and watch, or bend over and welcome a good it.... sadly this is all that is wrong with the game.... only made worse by the fact that the thick as sheit blue phew will think they have ...done nothing worng and dont deserve it... whilst saying how good they are as a team in L1 without acknolwedging they have players on prem wages still... C****

Agree, has ST for 12 years before moving north - each yer around 20% less than new STs - some folk seem to not understand the concept of inflation, increase in operating costs, need to develop the club... they want it all for free ..... and if its not free, it must NCs fault.... complete morons

current Co liquidated and new co...again with CVA.... reapeat of last time to allow forensic investigation by HMRC into current Co (new old co)

Very true, but our investmnet in the last 3 years on teh playing side has been UNDER the current limit - probably around 5mil a season if you take out teh infrastructure improvements which dont count.. but you are right it would be hypocracy had we voted for it. -

....3 clubs with well healed owners.... who have promised capital investment.... -
..unless a live football club offers a better chance of them getting any.. eg chainrai

... perhaps the most idiotic pointless thread started by the uber troll yet -Oh and Docker-p hy dnt you just take your ewhinging moaning f*ckwitism somehwhere else - or have you failed to look at the table recently? Jeez, so sorry your not the fan on the board and you all cant get in for £5.... we do have some right arseholes on this board...
-
Given that they are deferring wages... how is it possible that teh club has 'enough money' to get them to June, when waht he is saying is that the footballing debt is increasng, but feck you lot as they get paid first... although I guess if liquidated, then football crditors rule does not apply as no golden shre required?
-
yep but chinneys team saying they wont let the club be liquidated.... so he wuld have to 'bid' whatever the liquidation sale would raise + to satisfy creditors?.... so can we see a situation where Chinney in effct takes 100% again after paying the creditors off at 20p - getting 100% for around 7 or 8 mil?
-
I know a few pompey fans who do fall into that category, who became disillusioned several years ago and feel no pride in what they achieved or what has happened since as it is forever tainted - long term ST holders who just gave up on it all... so you can imagine they are not too up for banter right now. Sadly they seem to be in the minority. The majority seem to struggle with simple concepts like adult speech involving more than 3 words in the correct sequence so its hardly surprizing they simply dont understand that they have indeed done anything wrong. its like a bunch of 4 year olds - no matter what evidence is placed before them, they simply dont understand - whether this is actually a genetic defect due to serious levels of 'close family inbreeding' I know not. 'Banter aside' - I dont think they are prepared for what is to come, so it will make it the sweeter.

If it all goes pooey what about the playoffs?
Frank's cousin replied to Pilchards's topic in The Saints
Always think its a bit unfair that in Euro comps in that away goals do count when scored in extra time - eg say 2-1 and 2-1 both home wins and then if the away side score 1 in et teh home team have to get 2 to go through.... fairest is if all square on away goals after 180 mins - only golas scored in et count so if both score 1 in at, it goes to penalties... -
did they not have something like 200 staff at some point - even at 20k average that 4 mil a year.....
-
I am sure that is correct.... but could you explian what it means if either teh administrater sells the club to someone other than chinney, or liquidates the club - who gets what? (in laymans , non accounting speak If I may be so bold...)

This bloke is from somewhere down the M27, not sure where like exactly but he reckons once its installed, and if she croaks - dont worry about paying the stannah people, just get the best use possible , wizz up and down she will, envy of her mates and - well they'll all think shes loaded, but we'll know its just a nice way to buy now...pay never ... dont worry about any debt mate if she cat afford to pay it back, we'll draw up a nice litle contract that says you own the house as we know posession is 9/10th' of a creative accountants law....did I say law, meant 'guideline', so it is. Anyway if they get really heavy we can just ask her mates to chip in a few quid - heard everyone loves her, best gran in the world an all that, can always use that cash to give stannah a crumb... dont worry mate, we'll make sure they're fecked over good an proper
-
To be fair to MLG though - think everyone knows that this is less about what who said and more about ambition - its natural to get excited about potential growth, get carried awayby the positive vibes and when you do ocnsider the gate back in 2003, had we built on that we could well be on te way to expansion now, if not already - You cant base this purely on what if we get relagted etc... that happens - this is about providing access for those that want to go if the product is good enough and the price is right... end of teh day fans wanting growth for the club is a good thing surely?
-
Cool - ordinary stairs then - wont bore you tread depth details at this stage, as we are only talkin feasibilty, but looks possible... how much use will it get though? She got a downstairs bog or is she up and down on her old legs 20 times a day (know how these old dames are and its costs a fortune in incontinence pants) - if so, might wnat to consider installing sooner than later what with costs rising, legs aching and bladder breaking.. if you worried about cost effctiveness, well we can do you a finance plan over 10 years, works out all round, if she's 'relegated' always adds value for the owners...like... no pressure mind
