A new CVA will be passed (as he in effect controls it), but never paid - as they will wangle some 2017 clause - the final two parrachute payments will .... ... and then he will look to sell it for a quid with the CVA still looming as a L2 club...

And I would agree with you - but thats why there are several forums - those in which its all about a total laugh and those where some might occasionally want a more serious discussion. Also, you and a few others often create threads that are designed to be controversial, and get a bite.. fair enough, but your choice of topics often includes principles that most rationale folk will take seriously...

Think you have answered it yourself:p If you come in with millions and millions like Abramovic at chelsea, can be done and duste din about 4 days (which I think it was) - no need to do due diligence if you are in effect paying off all crdtors in full and have enough to cover and hidden extras that come out the woodwork... Even if 5000 fans had not only pledged but actually provided the additional £900 and 5 mil was sitting in the account, convincing the administrator that they ahve a business plan that will provide the best return to shareholders and being able to offer more than chanrai is a pipe dream. Never going to happen IMHO...

Well I look at like this - when he has agood game his abilty and class is obviious, but like so many in the lower leagues, who have/had the talent, its the lack of consistency that differentiates the Ok, from the good, from the excellent - part of taht will be confidence, part will be graft and part will be down to how much he can rely on his team mates to cove or be in the right position at the right time.... would not surprise me as his delivery when on form is top class... but he still needs to developm that consistency to take him to the next level.

To be fair, on Fry... no one saw NC and Liebherr coming - there had abeen a rumour of a Swiss bid much earlier - but no approach to the Administrators. All the Administrators can do, is assess the bids really - 'finding' a buyer is waht they all say they try and do, but when everyone knows you are for sale, if no one comes forward what are you meant to do? To remove the tyre kickers, they demand a nono-refunable deposit as proof of genuine interest and to allow the club to avoid liquidation whilst due diligence and legals are sorted... in this case I believe Crouch funded a deposit which he lost as it was at the time the only hope. From what I read at the time NC and ML only formally approach the administrators after this deposit had given Pinnacle exclusivity for a fixed time period - much to teh annoyance of NC and ML I guess. What should have happened in an ideal world is that that pinnacle should never have accepted Crouch's offer of teh deposit, if they never had the funds secured in the first place, but desperation was running the show... I dont know if the pinnacle bid caused problems or issues or nearly scuppered NC and MLs interest, so TBF, its not really the fault of the administrator.

Think that humilty stems from his graft and progress through the leagues over 12 years - rather than it being handed on a plate straight into the big time. Great to see and why his chance in the Prem is so well deserved
