  1. You will get an auto reply to this saying nothing can be said until the situation becomes clear... so in the meantime what we do know is: 1. Just by still being in Admin, if they are not liquidated and as long as they still have their golden share their will be no addditional points penalty 2. Should they exit admin at any time without a CVA in place a further points penalty will be applied next season 3. Ambiguity still exists over the the simple fact that they have not yet paid a penny towards the 2010 CVA. If the 2010 creditors agree to the 2012 CVA then it will be argued that the 2010 CVA has NOT failed and so no further action would be possible. If the 2010 creditors do NOT agree to the new 2012 CVA then its likely that 2012 CVA will not be possible and see point 2. 4. If 2012 CVA IS approved even if 2010 CVA creditors vote against it (because Chinney holds the aces) then it could be argued that 2010 CVA has failed - BUT it all likelhood will not be classified as such by the FL as the 2012 CVA has in effect superceeded it and depsite teh 2010 creditors having been shafted again, I doubt there is a legal way in which any sanction could be imposed within the current FL rules. Confused? Yep FL rules ineffective and unjust? Yep Pompey getting away with it? Yep Public know the truth about the fact they have not paid a single penny to CVA 2010? Nope Media highlighting this fact? Nope FL likely to close the loophole to avoid this happening again? Yep, but likely too late to catch the TDCSBs out..... That ladies and Gentleman is the grim and unjust reality IMHO..... but i have emailed the FL to attempt further clarification....
  2. I guess it all depends on what our budget realy is and that is what we dot know. If indeed a striker were our only signing, it would signal a naiviety bordering on stupidity, which I guess is why most would presume that 7m is not the lions share... or hope not anyway ;-) Having said that, if you look at sides that struggle in the PL, its those (and this may seem obvious ) that dont score enough goals... (I said it would be obvious ), but what i mean is sides whose foward players just dont get above 8 or 9 for the season. Sure, how the side play, create chnaces and also defend are vital, but you do need players who when you get a chance (which may not come that often) can put it away. I also think we needed to add pace to our attack whether from wide positions or through the middle and think that is why JR would be good addition - Is he worth 7 mil? Is anyone worth that? not sure, but if that's the going rate and we need that kind of player, its at least a positive IMHO that we seem to have that sort of budget available to bring them in.
  3. Which just highlights your ignorance
  4. Grow up you ignorant ****
  5. What is even more shocking and dispicable than any footage, is that we have morons on here trying to defend it or dilute it as something that can be explained by 'understanding football'. Whether you arseholes are serious or on a regular wind up, makes no difference... ignorant arseholes.
  6. Ahr young developing player is lack of consistency shocker... insightful. Your knowledge of the game asounds me....
  7. Of course the logical and common sense approach (rather than the additional cost of new parliaments and assemblies + another load of sponging politicos to pay for would have been time set aside for regional matters in the house voted on and debated only by those from that country... but hey devolution meant MORE politicians with a chance of earning a wedge talking mostly ****** and spending 4 years in power unravelling and redoing the work of the previous 4 years with the associated wasteage of cash...
  8. It is one question that baffles me... why the Tories are so keen to keep the Union, given that Scotland is a political wilderness for them. Can only be as you say, some sort of historical context. For Labour its obvious given the happy hunting ground it is for them. My biggest concern is that Salmond knows he will have a tough battle on his hands, which is why he is desperate to get 16 year olds included in the vote - he knows he can appeal to the immature voters with teh joingositic braveheart shiedt and many of them fail to comprehend that its not something they can simply 'try for a while' - its is amazing the number of numpties interviewed from teh pro camp who have absolutely no idea it would be permanent - but seem happy to 'give it a try and if it does not work...' Jeez The no camp MUST make a strong and simple case for why its not an 'experiement' that can be changed later and communicate the logistical knightmare and costs effectively yet without sounding like the whingers at a party - they also need to appeal for common sense and the fact that devolution actually works - allowing Scots to decide on the very day things that impact lives, yet benefitting from a strong currancy, defence etc of the Union - in addition it should be important to highlight that the Union has never erooded any Scots cultural identity... indeed it could be argued that it has strengthened it.... sadly I see an almighty feck up by the no campaign, similiarly to how bad the yes campaign was for the voting system change... and that's the problem.
  9. My guess is that whetehr the creditors are likely to accept or not is irrelevent to them going forward - all the FL need is assurance they wont be liquidated - eg have a buyer who will keep the club going and fulfill next seasons fixtures... The creditors agreeing to a CVA or not will only impact when and if they come out of Admin with Chanrai at the helm and if no CVA is agreed, the pints penalty that will follow for exiting admin without a CVA in place... They need to get out of admin asap so that they sign players again... after havig sold the current lot off ... which is proviong to be more difficult than hoped by Birch/Chinney
  10. Although tongue in cheek whitey, its a serious point in some respects. Older wiser Tory voters/Labour votes and those with a reasonable political awareness, know that no matter which party you support or which way your political leanings are, there is a need to have a credible and strong opposition you can respect, whoever is in power. Large scale majorities lead to complacency and pollitical stagnation... and whenever any party has 2-4 election wins on the trot, you end up dodgy goings on or policies enginered by the extreme wings of the party. Labour traditionally wins in Scotland and without that, it would be a struggle for them to gain a Westminster majority. With the Lib Dems in such a mess/politica wilderness, would it really be healthy for England to be in effect a one party state? One thing that I mind most puzzling about politics these days is why there is not more unity (for the good of the nation) on certain key elements. Surely Education, Health, Defence/transport etc need consistency both in funding and policy/strategy to thrive in an efficient manner. The reason why so many feel disenfanchised from politics is because those core services are constantly a battleground with the victors constantly shifting strategy that is just plain wasteful as it is pointless. I would like to see such services reviewed by a cross party group to determine the most effective way forward long term and gain all party agreement based on what is best for the people of Britain/future and not tied to old school rhetoric or a vote winning jingosim. Sadly, there is too much immaturity and rhetoric in politics to make this a viable option.
  11. Er...only 34% indicate they are pro it now... and thats because that **** Salmond has been pushing the emotional rhetoric. Couple of things before we get more jingoistic little Englander nonsense spouted on here. MOST people have an natural emotional desire for greater local autonomy - But what gave the SNP a minor foothold was not some anti -english nonsense, but a response to the way Thatcher and her cronies treated Scotland as the place to test her loony policies - remember the poll tax? I am sure it gave her some sort of warped pleasure knowing that it was dominated by Labour constituencies, but she allowed the SNP to grow beyond some fring minority spouting ****** about North Sea oil and 'braveheart' and gave them a platform... And whilst the SNP may have a small majority within the Scottish parliament, most folk still go back to a more rounded pparty when it comes to teh important things dealt with by Westminster. What most Scots i speak to say is that they vote SNP in teh Scottish elections, because the SNP have been reasonably appealing in within the devolved environment - and free prescription and universtity places are affordable becuase of the smaller size... but many at least right now know Salmond has no real practical manifesto yet - its the simple things that could prove so costly, and impact on many... moving Tax offices, settingup the hideousness of civil service, defence, passports, etc... what about thos eliving in Sxcotland that work i England... where doews their tax go and do they get the same service? simple yet important issues that will prove vastly expensive to resolve - yet right now all he is trying to feed on is the whole 'braveheart' shiedt - with w&nkers like sean connery (who has not lived in Scotland for nigh on 30 years - ****) calling the emotive tune... sure there will be some youngsters who buy it, but most are more pragmatic and to paraphrase Sir Walter Scot said... the union is like a marriage and most know how painful and costly a divorce can be.
  12. This... cant see why they stopped it -r or even teh silver goal where the half of et is completed...
  13. Pancake, you have too much time on your hands!
  14. I presume only what they would be entitled to in the financial/football year mind and in the event of liquidation the remianing would be redistributed? - This is where it gets complex, as a relegated club could risk 48mil in the NPC on promotion, if it fails and they go into admin, collect the remainder and avoid liquidation? Ironically, if what you suggest is possible, HMRC winning could have been Pompeys salvation - were they given 14mil now, chinneys share woudl have been about 6mil... which he would just have had to accept or take what he was due form a liquidation sale... but at least what was left would have been rid of chinney...although ont sure how his charge on the 'stadium' (if it can be classed as such) fits into that.... and the surrounding land is still owned by the child maimer... Jeez my brain cant cope with the speculative permutations... comedy gold for sure, if what they have dones was not so utterly dispicable.
  15. It's posts like this that that make it a vital daily need to read ALL the posts since your last visit:scared:
  16. ...come over to teh dark republican side - we know you want to
  17. Didn't think you would miss a trick to spout your boll ocks again...
  18. Didn't take you long to get in the act hey? For one so soul destroyed by my posts, you seem to be obsessed with it...
  19. Fair point on installments... but had some fans not ripped the club (and fellow fans ) of by abusing it, combined with those that conned thir way in under the older card system, maybe the club would not feel the need to invest in a whole new system to IMPROVE customer service and esure its fair for all? Just a thought.
  20. Ha... since when was this forum the home of 'well written and intelligent prose'? If that was one of the 'rules' most threads would consist of around 2 posts... and I have never pretended that my contributions warrant a Pulitzer... Indedd if I had any gift for well written and intellectual prose, do you think I would waste it on here? You obviously ahve too much time on your hands if you can waste it copy and pasting sections form literature, and comment on the quality of others posts, yet not bother to read them in the first place... why not simply ignore if they dont reach your 'intellectual' standards?
  21. would have been moderately amusing if 6 lines counts as a 'long tome' on here... are you being critical of the reading age and attention span of the average poster on here, or just talking about your own?
  22. Ahr Turkish, the supreme being, voice of the people...what part of 'knowing that its going to be between £500-£700 do you not understand?' If you desperately want an ST for a prem season, you KNOW that its going to be in this ball park and make allowances - its called budgeting your finances. As you are 'loaded' perhaps you dont need to think of such things, but teh point is perfectly simple and you make it yourself (without recognising it) - it is a significant sum of money for most people - as sum that is NOT likely to be an impluse purchase and should not be for anyone with common sense managing on a budget in difficult times... so anyone wanting to renew or buy one for the first time, unless totally naive will now this is the ballpark and have planned acordingly... which means waiting 2-3 weeks for whether its £509 or £685 is surely not going to make a whole lot of difference.. If the mrs demands a new sofa (as the little sychophant Duney is so xpressly telling us all is such an issue) thats life... you makes you choice for most folk, New sofa or ST and new Mrs... life is like that for 'most' people. Difficult choices that adults have to make.... and yes its tough **** - deal with it, we all have to.
  23. I dont believe you are that naive Kracken - your posts suggest you are not anyway. Some on here have an issue with NC, fair enough, everyone entitled and all that. Buts its perhaps more honest to be upfront about - it shows more balls and integrity f those with an issue simply state it and get one with tehir point - threads on here are littered with subtle and some not so subtle digs - it just gets tedious/boring. The problem thes efolk have its that its a bit tricky giving NC a kicking after 2 promotions in 2 years...so it gets to desperation about ST sales timing, signing, rumour on Adkins... Jeez.
  24. ... would anyone say that given we were late annoucing ST rates last season, a huge wave of fans missed out on an ST? Did they feck, those that want one will get one, those that can't afford it will not - whether announced in April or June... we have owners who dont foolow the traditonal pattern... and er, so the traditional pattern is always right? I can actually see Dune now, being beaten by his missus/GF/BF/mother, telling him unless he knows exactly the cost of his ST by the end of May, the money he has not saved (because he wants the installment plan) will be claimed for the week in Benidorm instead... FFS some of you sound like kids on this. 1. If you cant afford it, well **** thats life 2. if you have not predicted that around this time of year you may be needing to shell out between £500-£700 notes on an ST if you want one, well you must be feckin .... (insert on appropriate word for thick as shiedt) 3. The club is not desperate for ST revenue to keep it going over the summer and it sees maximising non-st sales as the best way of maximising revenue whilst we have our 32K limit which - loyalty to those who stuck by during the dark days? What of those who boycotted during the dark days, and what the feck has that got to do with NC? STs will be available to ALL who wnat one so why worry? Its not as if there will be a cap... apart from one imposed by capacity... but those whio say this wont be a problem... are the ones so worried about this... you guys are as transparent as fricken glass when to comes to NC... Do you want to go next season? Yes, do you expect a discount on renewal of your ST? Yes - you will get one. Can you use this as another pathetic griep about NC even though it has feck all baring on anything? Seems so... Jeez.....
